guys, seems it can only get better... even with the near daily rains and flooding taking place, the heavens keep smiling on us with decent sunshine... 12kw instantaneous power and counting, 53.56kwh daily harvest... the sun truly is the answer...! 6 Likes

essegis: What I saw one guy (Will Prowse) use in a you tube video was 20 watts resistor, if I remember quite well. The resistors you'll have at home will likely be the smaller ones, and I'm not quite sure you can use those. |

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by essegis(m): 1:09pm On Jun 20, 2020 |
ceaser: Yeah, I don't have those Will Prowse white centered resistors but the pack I have has different ratings from 0.1ohms to I think 1000ohms sef. E plenty. But na normal small body resistors so I don't know if they will work or the exact rating needed for the discharge. |

Blueprintz: There are many cheap circuits that can implement set voltage cutoff and reconnect. I even built one in my early days with solar as a charge controller. It simply connects or disconnects pv based on battery voltage....you can use it to switch relays for you battery if thats what you really want to do. Check aliexpress for battery voltage monitor or something along that line. |

spartacus11: Wondering why a seller will stock 120v equipment or inverter here when he knows our system is 220v. Surprised is an understatement here. Anyway, I was talking about AliExpress. Abeg go buy for there, choose 220v and universal socket and you're good. Though once them see you're buying from naija they know what set up you're looking for. Cheers. |
