Chibuzo15: Yeah, they take care of minor cases while major cases are sent to IMSUTH As for cost, it shouldn't even be expensive in the first place, that's why it's a government hospital. Lagos have such in most of her local government and trust me, they are always overcrowded with absence of empty bed spaces. 1 Like |

proeast: Any road constructed by Okorocha scrapped and reconstructed again was deliberate as they weren't bad when he left. Example is Akachi road built from the scratch and was good before being scrapped. Good enough only one side was scrapped and the 2nd side will serve as a witness. The same with the road at Freedom Square also scrapped one side only before Uzodinma came and repaired that lane. The videos are there with dates including campaign videos of then opposition. Government is meant to be a continuity of programs before a noticeable development is achieved not destruction and vendetta as Ihedioha did upon take over. That's the reason I supported Uche Nwosu to succeed Okorocha even though I found it wrong based on zoning arrangement. True to God if he was the Governor all these talks wouldn't be our topic today. The Hospitals completed by Okorocha wouldn't have been vandalized, the Government House wouldn't have been vandalized, unnecessary roads wouldn't have been scrapped, the beautiful streetlights in Owerri would have still been there and functional, he would have maintained Okorocha's legacy and continued with building of schools as well. The RAMP project attracted by Okorocha with funds secured would have been working on rural roads, there would still have been freedom of speech without molestation, the Police would have moved to the brand new headquarters while the former Police headquarters is demolished and sold to estate developers, same with the new prison and Judiciary. Uzodinma succeeded in moving the Judiciary headquarters but by the time he came on board the Police headquarters had already been vandalized, Somto Hospital vandalized, Ochiedike diagnostic center vandalized, Mother and Child Hospital vandalized and so on. Okorocha is like Amaechi of Imo State. He was visionary and set goals that would outlive his tenure but the recent slowdown stems from politics if 2023 which made Tinubu et al use propaganda and project victimization to fight him because they knew he fell out with Igbo brothers for supporting Buhari against Jonathan whom Igbos preferred. 2 Likes |

Abagworo: I agree with you that governance is a continuum and PDP government of Ihedioha weren't completely blameless. However, nobody would scrap a road that is in good condition. The portions of Akachi road that were scraped was already bad before it was scrapped, I'm aware of that because I often drive through it. The hospitals you are saying were vandalized weren't completed to start with. I was at that hospital the day Osinbajo was invited to commission it. A day to the date, some equipment and decorations were hurriedly brought in from that Al In mall along Aba road rumoured to be owned by Nkechi Okorocha. The back of the hospital and many sections of it were still uncompleted yet it was commissioned with a crested sign board that named it Rochas free mother and child hospital. Immediately the dignitaries that came to commission it left, all the equipment and decorations that were brought in were all returned and the place was empty. So what exactly was vandalized? I also agree with you that if Uche Nwosu was made the governor that he would have covered up on all these things but why would a governor scam his people? 8 Likes |

Whoever is guiding gov Hope Uzodinma to open a 4th University closest to Owerri, but no full government university in Orlu and Okigwe zones - the person is leading Uzodinma to political obscurity. 1 Like |

proeast: Can you just imagine this. A whole governor will do that all for the glams. So basically the reason why he was desperate for his son-in-law to succeed was so that all these could be hidden from the public eyes. Sincerely, I had great hopes that Rochas would perform, I just don't know where he started losing it or what made him lose it. 2 Likes |

greenandy: You know, I still don't understand why the governors don't wanna look at other zones seeing that they are even from those zones. Is there a curse that if a governor develops his zone, he'll run mad or something? (I don't get it) Well, my brother, maybe it's time you start mobilising people from your zone to vote a governor from Owerri zone since you've noticed that governors from a zone always develop other zones apart from his own. In three years time, we'll see if Orlu people have learnt their lesson or will repeat the same thing they've been doing. Till then, let's keep pushing Uzodinma to do the right thing and hope he listens. #Imo Will Be Better# #God Bless Imo State# 1 Like |

Yampotatocarrot: To be honest with you, I used to like Rochas too until he ruled Imo state. He still has his good attributes such as being bold and courageous as well as thinking ahead but his greatest undoing is greed, covetiousness and a penchant to scam. The good things he did in Imo state which only someone with balls could do was the relocation of the two markets i.e. Eke Ukwu Owerri and New Market despite the opposition against it and the widening of some roads among others. However, he undermined himself by doing mostly shoddy and very poor quality jobs. He wanted to do more for less while pocketing the money but he forgot that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction to it. It is a crime against ndi Imo to award roads amounting to billions of naira only for same roads to fail within a year. It is a crime against ndi Imo to build substandard structures costing billions of naira and without completing them but only to turn them into white elephant projects. Igbos or Imolites are not stvpid, no one would be calling him out or criticizing him if he performed excellently. Since he knew he would be aiming for a higher office, why didn't he go all out to do great works in Imo state and use it advertise himself instead of trying to pull wool over our eyes? Look at Ebonyi state, the governor there has a penchant for supporting Buhari despite his obvious wicked acts against Igbos which makes many angry but it does not stop us from appreciating his great strides in Ebonyi state. Igbos did not just become angry and always criticize Rochas because he is in APC or was against GEJ reelection but mainly because of how he ended his governance in Imo state. This is the internet age and news and information travels at the speed of light. He missed the opportunity to use Imo state to advertise himself. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

proeast: Okay let's settle this once and for all. Name the roads he constructed that failed within one year and not propaganda. It's easy to write nonsense but difficult to prove. He built over 500 schools true or false? I dislike insincere criticism borne out of personal hate instead of being factful and truthful. So name the roads, the year they were constructed and the years they failed so that the neutral people around can assess you and I who is truthful. 2 Likes |

I pity you old man because even my shadow chases you around. See the profile of the person you are mischievously calling chino simply because he busted your propaganda here. He is even a real estate agent based in Owerri while you are in PH, but you hopelessly think you know Owerri more than he does. See even his contacts are there in his profile. 1 Like

NwaforIgbo: Thunder FIRE any nit wit canvassing for closed gutters only for Owerri in Imo state; while rest of Imo state make do with open gutters - or no gutters at all / as it is in towns and communities outside Owerri in Imo state. Anopheles Mosquitoes live in open gutters. May mosquitoes that are the greatest killer in sub Saharan Africa wipe away the entire village of the canvasser. Did US government first build closed gutters in Washington DC before other US cities? Imo state capital - who builds capital to undermine development in rest of the state or country? Less than 4% of the people of Imo state live in Owerri. |
