Brother! First of all that image is not JESUS!

GOD ALMIGHTY is a Jealous GOD! HE does not share His glory with any image or being or object!

Bowing down to any form of image in the name of honoring or worshipping is idolatry!

The Holy Bible is the Ultimate guide for anyone that has Heaven in view!

GOD ALMIGHTY does not have an Assitant .

GOD Almighty does not operate through Mary or Elijah or peter , etc.

Jehovah Witness Confused me with this bible verse while I was a kid. (Seven or eight years).

After i attended the church service on sunday, Jehovah Witness do come to preach the word of God to me in the afternoon, it was my dad that accepted the offer. So that Sunday we did bible study , and they lectured me with their Christian books and magazine. The topic was The Ten Commandments, It was this bible verse which they gave more expression on that got me confused. Exodus 20:4-5 (KJV)
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

So after the teaching I entered inside our apartment, I took the pictures of Jesus, calendar of Jesus in the sitting room to dispose them.. it was against the commandments of God to make any graven image or any likeness of anything that is heaven above.. Immediately i was stopped by my parents and I explained to them .

My dad stopped me from attending the Jehovah Witness bible teaching..

Well i'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses and i must tell you that you actually set one fine example and i'll like to commend you for that fine move.
However since you're still a minor back then, you can't decide for yourself.
Note that the JWs never asked you to go and dispose those things because it's not you that erected the images but your parents.
So next time when you're making a decision like that never think of carrying everyone along because each person will carry his own load {Galatians 6:5} when you understand something, allow others to understand it from their own mind as well instead of making decisions for them!

That was a fine example of a 7 years old, i'm sure the true God will never forget that single move of yours at that tender age!
