And Anambra is benefiting from being the entry point into Eastern Nigeria for basically every good and service.
And Kaduna s benefiting from being gateway from Abuja into the North
And 6 SS states are benefiting from being massive oil producers
And Kano is benefiting from Northern commerce
Before you know it, the whole of Nigeria will end up supposedly benefiting from something.

As for Imo there is nothing there. Imo is a civil service state as such they have decided to focus on their schooling..... even though there is still no tertiary educational institution of note there.

Yes Ogun state is No2 in HDI and it is funny that you suggest I do not know the diffference between FDI and HDI
there's nothing in Imo that pumps gas to your region? Pray that Imolites won't invade this thread with pictures of Imo that will shame you and make Abeokuta look like its in the 1800s. Just enjoy your thread. Make una free this guy

The red mud is strictly the Igbo affair. So the Yorubas are not contesting that with them.

If you mention SE, the next thing is red mud!

See red soil everywhere lol wink. But Yoruba people will say South East is red mud republic.

Sense fall on all of you.

These ones have probably even stolen pictures from somewhere in the East calling it Abeokuta. Who doesn't know Abeokuta? kiki
But in between that red soil is an authenticated infrastructure..
Mumu..at least the red mud Doesn't slide

I repeat... Imo is a mediocre 1 town state. And Imo lacks industry.
Imolites are all over the SW enjoying opportunities they can't back home.
Go sit down and think deep. Stop lying to your ori.

Ok. Aba is the best city in Nigeria. They have world class road and public infrastructure, with efficient waste management and superb planning.
Happy now?

As for Imo there is nothing there (No industry, no commerce, no innovation no tier 1 city). Imo is a civil service state as such they have decided to focus on their schooling..... even though there is still no tertiary educational institution of note there.

You just ended up confusing yourself. Now, allow me to school you. Human capital development is an offshoot of educational enrollment. Without having a high enrollment rate you can't talk about having a developed human capital. Based on that fact, can you compare primary, secondary and university enrollment figures between Imo and Anambra states with Ogun state?

Without Ogun being close to Lagos, it would have been as re.tarded as other SW states. Even from the pictures you're posting here, it goes to show that Ogun is still backward.

So, these are pictures of the best places you have in Abeokuta

Damn it, Aba looks far more beautiful and advanced than this!

Abakilike has better infrastructure than this!

I just used these two cities which are by no means the best we have in the SE. I didn't mention Enugu, Owerri or Onitsha because that will amount to an overkill.

Truly speaking, Lagos really helped you guys to cover a lot of things and without Lagos, SW would most likely be worse than NE. If we have anything like Lagos close to the SE, I bet you we would be far ahead of any region in Nigeria.

Sorry but nothing to see here. If after 21 years of democracy this is what we have to show for it, them shame on our leaders and shame on us.

And you guys should stop disgracing us Nigerians with these silly threads of posting your towns.

Have you forgotten that this is an international forum?

Small time now, the Igbos too will open a counter thread and start posting aerial photos of Anambra and Abia.

Please, whether you are Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo, desist from such foolishness in future.

Thank you.

Abeokuta is like a very big village as shown in this thread. Such a disjointed, disorganized, red mud and untarred roads everywhere. This is shameful

Honestly, I'm totally disappointed if this is all Ogun have got despite all it's gaining from Lagos?

There is nothing spectacular about these pictures here and it's such a shame that people are celebrating such mediocrity in this modern times.

There governors both past and present should cover their faces in shame for failing to leverage all the opportunities Lagos is providing them on a platter of gold.

I am Yoruba but judging from what am seeing here, SW have a lot of catching up to do with the East; in terms of City planning and development.

Being born in Yoruba land doesn't make you Yoruba. And your flat head just gave you up for what you are. By the way, how your Gala sales dey go?

But but but ,juju too much for ogun state and it has the highest concentration of yahoo boys especially ABK, ijebu ode and Ago-iwoye
