Yes... Now let me add some flesh to this. Got subbed in on 60mins with Huesca 1-0 down. Some minutes after he came on, they went 2-0 down. Not long after that they got a penalty and made it 2-1. Around the 90mins + added time mark, K.Nwakali played a fine role in their equaliser that made it 2-2. Started the move by holding onto the ball before picking his pass, sending a calm ball to the right wing for the winger to carry on and pick a cross and it resulted in a goal. Played 30mins+ today and again encouraging signs were seen. The lad just need to keep on playing. With more minutes, hopefully will come more extra urgency and intensity to his game. He did okay today. Let the cries of bias resume. cc12: 13 Likes 4 Shares |

Everton holding Liverpool to a draw should be considered an accomplishment, considering how poor they were pre-COVID. |

TheLoneCitizen: Another frustrating day for Onyekuru, tired of defending the lad. Two consecutive games where he has the least number of passes. Doesn't get involved, just interested in scoring. Explosive forward but not a team player. Iwobi had the best rating by a non-defender for Everton yet Twitter won't let him be. Coach set up defensively and if Richarlison had passed to him, would have had a goal. Nobody slates Rich. 2 Likes 1 Share |

2lola:He is overhyped bro. First half was descent, but 2nd half went completely off because of lack of positioning. Let's learn to be telling ourselves the truth abeg. And even when he was played in his natural wing. There is actually nothing spectacular. 2 Likes |

It's not love. It's simple match report. But as usual, some will turn it into me being biased. Truthfully he is far from there yet. Needs more minutes to get into premium match fitness. Also needs to play with much more intensity but hopefully that will come with more minutes played since he's been out for far too long. But he is trying so far. andrewbaba44: 1 Like 1 Share |

Hmmm... The chances of Huesca making it into La Liga is good but it's still a tough one. If they can fight their way into top two in the remaining 8 games then fine but Almeria, Zaragoza and Cadiz are not smiling too. Right now they sit 4th, four points above fifth Elche, and just two behind Almeria. Cadiz and Zaragoza occupy the automatic top two spots. So as it stands their chances of a La Liga promotion will be via playoffs. But with 8 games to go, top two is still possible. Time will tell. andrewbaba44: 1 Like 1 Share |

I actually believe Iwobi is grossly underrated on this thread. That's my own observation. I don't recall anyone likening Iwobi to Okocha or raising him to world class status. What you don't know is the central importance of Iwobi to the way the current Super Eagles play in the final third. So yes, he is very underrated in here. sophtcopy: 8 Likes 1 Share |

TheSuperNerd:Maybe it's because of my high expectations from him sha but in my own korokoro eyes, I no see wetin Iwobi dey play o. He just run around pitch and disappear when game intensity is high. Na lack of good competition make us dey see Iwobi like Paul Scholes for Super Eagles 2 Likes 1 Share |

sophtcopy: For today, Everton was up against the league leaders. Iwobi had more to do defensively than offensively when you consider the high quality of the opposition today. He made 1 tackle, 2 interceptions, and 2 clearances. We hardly saw him on the offensive today and that explains why he didn't do above average. Also, maybe he would have had a goal if Richarlison had not played selfish. Let me just show you a graphical example of what Iwobi brings to the Eagles. A key player to our fast phases of play in attack in the final third. It is true he needs competition but he is also doing good in the GWG. Below is an Iwobi Activity/pass map vs Ukraine Courtesy of Solace Chukwu's Supersub. Key: Arrows Blue: passes received Green: passes completed Red: unsuccessful passes Black: shot(s) on target Pink: shot(s) off target Dots Black: recoveries Red: tackles Orange: interceptions Some people haven't taken the time to really understand what Iwobi brings hence they keep underrating the lad and calling him hyped. Even Arsenal fans know better now. Iwobi is really underrated in here. 4 Likes 1 Share

sophtcopy:u no go see his efforts on the pitch cus u no sabi ball. Even arsenal fans today are missing alex. He is not a player to wow u with dribbles and goals but very efficient in what he does best which are 1 touch football qnd linking the midfield with the attackers. Iwobi a thorough arsenal bred player and if you understands wengers philosophy you will know thw reason he rated alex so high 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd:so much and it hurts me badly. Players we deem superb are does who dribbles around the pitch with little work off the ball. Alex is a superb player if we really understand his game and also a good team player. Saw thw game with liverpool few minutes ago where he played strictly to ancelotti's instruction by being more defensive nothwithstanding made decisive passes when the opportunity came. Alex is the most underated nigerian player currently 1 Like 1 Share |
