Only if you post stuff that's better than this and not old-fashioned square cement blocks from the 80s in Abuja.

JOHANNESBURG Let me know if you require further lessons in modern architecture. There's more from where this came from. cool cool cool

Hahaha, I'm liking you already, my silly South African friend cheesy wink

Abuja is lightyears ahead of the entire Gauteng... Don't even go there... Those were just some pics from Lagos. Not even Abuja!
You talk too much… I have been reading all the comments but yours was full of daftness and emotiness.
South Africa (Johanesburg, Cape town, Pretorisa e.t.c) is light years of Nigeria. If Lagos was a city in South Africa, it would not even make top 5.
How can you compare a country & cities build by the white men to Nigeria.

You should notice all these buildings above were built in the last 25 years of the ANC BLACK government by local and foreign investors. So give credit where it's due man, the black SA government knows how to attract investment into the country.

Do you wanna see what the government itself has built over the past 25 years? Just give me a nod when you ready. grin

You follow me see am.

BOOOMNAIJA, no need to post pictures of Abuja. Nigerian cities are no match for South African cities.

Thanks to the white that build and set standard for them before handing over to the blacks.

South Africa set standard in sub Sahara Africa.

If the white were still in power in Nigeria till the early 90s, maybe by now we would have had steady electricity which seems like impossible.

My Nigerians, lets be honest. Lagos and Abuja aren’t impressive. Parts of Abuja might be but it’s irrational to say Abuja looks better than JoBurg. That’s just far from the truth. If you’ve traveled outside Nigeria, you’ll know we are slacking. Lagos as a whole isn’t very organized. One day we’ll wake up and claim our rightful place.

U spoke the honest truth. I wanted to ask that guy to point out which part of Abuja is that fantastic.. I stay in abuja and theres no nook and cranny of the city I dont know. Jo'burg is miles years ahead of Abuja. Let's stop lying all in d name of trying to sound patriotic

Nigeria is not ready to develop.

Which city in the world you will keep seeing overhead water tank in every building?

Common public water our government can't provide.

States governors keep building inferior roads.

If person like Akpabio can be a governor of a state for like 20yrs, i bet that state will be competing with South African cities.

Though he stole money but he loves good thing.

The roads he built in Akwa ibom will take like 20yrs before needing any patchwork.

It's better they keep insulting Nigeria abroad like this. Maybe that's when youths will wake up and direct their anger to the thieves in political offices stealing money and not working...

Let's say the truth, waste management in Lagos is messed up big time. Lagos isn't coping at all in that aspect. In my area their LAWMA trucks don't even get into our street so people have to burn their waste, leaving smoke and residue behind. No waste bins on sidewalks, roads don't meet basic standards, electricity is abysmal, healthcare is poor. Why won't they insult us? No country respects us apart from Liberia and Sierra Leone... E get why.

The problem started when Ambode refused to continue with BRF's cleaning policy that's why I don't pity him.
He was the one who really messed up a good plan by his predecessor because he wanted to 'make name. '

In as much as your ego and pride will not admit it, without the whites South Africa would have been the same level with Namibia, Gabon and Malawi.

I remember writing something similar during Ambode's tenure. The way he fell out with the LAWMA guys kind of exacerbated the issue. But regardless, Lagos has always had a waste management problem. There's insufficient space for dumping grounds and recycling is almost nonexistent.

Or it could have been far better without inequality and black poverty, because colonialism created the problems experienced in black communities.

Nobody knows what SA could have been like - would there even be an SA ? Botswana is managing their diamonds very well, so is Namibia, and SA has far more natural resources. So we could have been much wealthier, who knows ?

Your own Nigerian ego would rather have you believe it would have been a disaster, rather than looking at the positives - it helps you sleep better at night. So, you're the one who needs to check yourself. My analysis was far more balanced.
