6) for the graduates, If you didn't graduate from the street before going to school, relate with the street now. for undergraduate try to graduate from the street before leaving school and for jambite graduate from the street first before going to school
NB: street graduation doesn't mean drugs or illegal things indulgence perse, I mean be streetwise Right... Some people think being "streetwise" mean internet fraud, drug peddling, prostitution etc... It's all about sharpening your survival skills & trusting your instinct. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

fairheart: Social skills are important dear, but depends on your profession and how far you want to go in life. If you are ever selected to lead, or you start a company, or you become a manager, you will know that social skills are essential. Failure looms in these aforementioned circles without them.

TheBlessedHero: 1. Make your own rule and be the law, what works for others, might not works for you. 2. That people want you to succeed doesn't mean their advice is the best for you. 3. Dream and dream big, as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. There's power in dreams that drive us. 4. Don't be "Jesus" for anybody, you're not here to die for people. 5. Believe in something, even if it's in sand or yourself, there's power in belief, it works most of the time. 6. Nobody loves you more than yourself, not even "God", if your doubt, ask "Him" to trade place with you. 7. You're just another being, that is, don't ever think you're special, like specially created by "God", nah, you'll be shocked when things stop/don't go your way. 8. Life is not fair, that you're poor today doesn't mean you'll be rich tomorrow. 9. Enjoy your life while you can, it's the only thing you have power over. 10. Grace and Luck is REAL.
Your point number 6 is warped. God actually loves you more than you love yourself. He already traded places with you when He came to the world in the flesh as Jesus Christ and died for your sins. Jesus lived poor even though He was rich so that we through His poverty might be rich. God bless you. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Number 4 is very important for guys coming from a poor background. it may look as if you are selfish in the beginning but people around you will see the advantage in the future. You must weigh higher than the people you are trying to save from drowning or else, all of you are going down together. E.g A new graduate who just finds a job should try and save for investment so that he can create passive income in case he loses the job. Unfortunately, that's he will start sharing money to family and friends. Somebody that travels out of the country that supposes to get an education first will start sending money home, after 10 years abroad he will find himself stuck on menial jobs. "The boy is good, apa lo n jebe" Number 8 is very great too. Confidence attracts people to you. You can't sell anything if you are not confident about it. How can I believe in what seems you don't believe in? You always doubt yourself, how will a lady/guy believe in you. Accept yourself first. Accept things that can't be changed like height, race, etc. Safely change the things that can be changed without breaking the bank if you think it will give you more confidence. Like losing weight. olabrinks: 1. Maintain your weight whilst your young. Not watching your weight will give you series of problem later on in life. Exercise and eat properly.
2. Dont be with someone who’s family do not like you. It is an everlasting battle that you will eventually lose.
3. You will not gain respect trying to please everyone. Stand up for yourself and always speak your mind.
4. Only share things when you are established. People are envious and will try to destroy your plans if you share too quickly.
5. Listen more than you talk.
6. Social skills are paramount for getting further in life. You must learn how to make solid connections.
7. Elders do not know it best
8. Confidence is more valuable than looks
9. Your family doesn’t always want the best for you
10. No one will values you until you hit it big.
11. Be careful with alcohol. It is addictive and very accessible, probably the worst drug out there.

pansophist: 1. Lions are called the king of the jungle because Tigers (and other stronger formidable predators) do not live in the jungle. In other words, the people who look down on you do so because you haven't assumed your throne and shine in your glory. Go be a king in your domain.
2. Resurrect your inner b!tch. The world is a jungle, and being Mr nice guy will not take you far. The unrelenting you are to exhume your inner b!itch, the farther you go.
3. Formal education will make you a living, but self-education will make you a fortune. True life's education is experienced outside the classroom. know the difference between to be schooled and to be educated.
4. Being nice and incapable of inflicting harm is not a virtue. It is a weakness. The ability to inflict an untold amount of damages, but chooses not to, is a virtue.
5. If they stand behind you protect them. If they stand beside you, respect them. But if they stand against you, destroy them.
6. Be aware of your vices, and do not let it destroy your life. A typical vice for men is philandering, negative aggression, greed, alcoholism, etc. For women, it is prostitution, chaos, vindictiveness, narcissism, and dissatisfaction.
7. The antidote to suffering in life is responsibility. pursue what is worth dying for, and every other suffering you pass through shall be insignificant.
8. Never be afraid to walk alone, instead be afraid to walk mindlessly with the crowd. Your mind can be your greatest asset, and your greatest liability, depending on if you nourish it well. Be a solitary Tiger if needed, not a mindless sheep.
9. As a man, your superpower lies in being masculine, and for women, being feminine. Understand this and accentuate it to the best of your ability.
10. The ability to express yourself eloquently is power. The power of speech can move mountains, bring down standing armies, and give meaning to life. Be eloquent. The content of your speech speaks more about the speaker, as opposed to the subject. The formation of your mental sophistication is expressed through the content of your words.
11. The weaker you are, the more fight you will get into. The stronger you are, the less fight you will get into either. To thrive is to be tough.
12. Anyone that loves you in the truest meaning of love is your family. Love unites people not blood, though love coming from blood relation is thicker. To understand the true meaning of love, substitute the word ''love'' with responsibility. Love without responsibility is not love, it is infatuation.
13. the natural mandate is that anything valuable comes from the inside. If an egg is broken by an outside force, life ends. If it is broken by an inner force, life begins. Do not let external forces suppress your inner voice.

I Tell you my brother! I used to be a Victim until I took note of that! Sir I noted something from scripture about that gender called female. They are like a man's cooling system. If you marry the wrong one, double over heating. But the right one will save you from many waters through her counsel. |
