calisy555:I am going to this school this September by God’s Grace. No, use your personal statement of account. Your uncle can send the money to your account. No, you have to pay the Deposit and CAS will be sent to you. It depends on what you prefer, I will prefer to see and check the accommodations myself before payment. 6 Likes |

Your answer about CAS and bank statements is not entirely correct. Some schools ask to see a 28-day bank statement before CAS is issued. He/She would have to find out from the university of choice if a 28-day bank statement is one of the conditions to be met for issuance of CAS amaeve: |

amaeve: @ALL, what do you think about this? This accommodation thing is now a dicey situation. Yes, ideally one should do Bed&breakfast booking for a few days while looking around for one's most preferred accommodation but with the 14 days quarantine rule coming into play having to provide an address at the port of entry, that doesn't seem feasible. It seems one would just have to take the risk of paying for a place in absential (without physical viewing). Abi person go quarantine for bed and breakfast for two weeks ni?? |

moetariq: Dependents can go at any time or not got at all. It all depends on the applicant pocket and choices.... the only stipulation is that for a child to apply the second parent must apply together or previously given. 1 Like 1 Share |

Lol yes. It doesn’t matter how long it’s in your account for. What matters is that it is in your account for at least 28 days prior to your application (statement must be less than 30 days old etc) lynniebabes: |

I doubt this will still fly by September. They were proposing a £60 test fee for a family of 4 as at yesterday. In other words, every traveler is tested for a Covid 19 on arrival. It will become clearer before September I believe. SegunWamiri: |

Goodevning house.. Please I need direction from the house and I will be as honest as possible.. I want to apply for a UK student or visiting visa.. I'm a first time applicant so I'm a novice.. I spoke to an agent who processed for a friend(outside London and she went for masters, for 3million)some money were also deposited into her account and she got it.. Now in the UK. I spoke with the agent to help me process mine and he told me not to go for a student visa because it might be denied reason being that, it's a long time I wrote my SSCE(12years back) I have not done my degree but my friend did. I have a registered company with a business account.. I haven't transacted any business with my business account, I have been using my personal account for all my transactions.. Should I apply for a visa with my business account or my personal account? I'm into importation of second hand wears but someone is helping me buy and send.. I have the receipt of some of the goods pouchesed for me but shipped with someone else's name.. I have pictures of most of my goods and when I'm selling them.. Can I get all these together and with some money in my personal account apply for visiting visa, telling them I'm going to buy goods..? Another option.. I have a family friend that has been to the UK with the family And came back.. Can I act as their house help so they can apply for me as their help who will help them take care of the kids over there? How will the embassy now they have good travel history.. Would they be asked to show their passport? I also have a friend who has a very big old company that said..hey, I will look for a way to get you a UK visa but knowing that UK doesn't look at anybody's face,...can someone get one a visa with his or her company name or influence Is so big Please someone should help me on the best way to go about it.. I'm scared of denial that's why im looking for the best way.. Thanks in anticipation. |

1. You don't need an agent to complete your visa application if you read the tier 4 rules and read up on previous posts in this thread. As long as you can defend your reason for choosing to study in the UK and why you've been out of the academic system for a long time, it wouldn't affect your application. 2.You don't need your corporate account for a tier 4 application, your personal account is what is required. 3. Act as their househelp as a way to circumvent the rules? Even if they agree, are they willing to pay you as much as you require for your services? 4. The only way a company in the UK can get you a work visa will be to sponsor you on a tier 2 visa and the requirements are no child's play. Those who have the tier 2 sponsorship will not give it if you don't have what they require. sandra50: 1 Like |

sandra50: If you want to travel to the UK genuely then forget eveything the agent, your friend in the UK told because non will work. Firstly can you afford to student in the UK? It will cost you at least 20M naira. If yes then search for school online and apply for admission, this is completely free and you can do this in a day or two. Read first page of this thread for cost of studying the UK and how to go about it |

sandra50: Good evening sister. Please relax..you came here for help and help you will get. Now that agent is looking for easy clients, so he told you that. UK is not Canada..even for their citizens, there is called Mature student. Even if you don't have a first degree, but you have been doing business, even with your personal accounts. So I think with proper preparation, you should be fine. Let's take it one issue at a time. 1) Which course are you interested in doing? Is it business related or any field? You need to decide this first. 2.) Do you have the finances for schooling in the UK? The average amount for undergraduate studies in the UK is around 15k pounds (for school fees alone for international students) + 9200 for maintenance..= 24 -25k pounds ( 12 -13m naira) per year. This is excluding other costs like visa fee, IHS charge, TB test, flight ticket, etc. so I would round it up minimum 15m... Remember Undergraduate programs are 3 years.. calculate that cost.. 3) If you just want to relocate, then I would advise also considering other european countries like Germany/Netherland/Norway/Sweden etc... this is because these countries either waive tuition fee or have reduced fees..and less costlier than UK. I hear Undergraduate in Netherland is btw 3-4m annually.. do the research.. 4) You wll need to do your research...it is very important in this relocation journey.. 5) For UK, the first step is getting the admission, other things will follow if you do the right things and follow the process 6) If someone wants to employ you as their child care giver, there's a lot process and the length of time you can stay there is not long.. so check and verify 7) Any other thing that doesn't sound right or legal ..I can't talk about it as I don't condone it nor use it.. so I am unable to answer that question Okido..your responses will help us help you better.. so over to you.. 4 Likes 1 Share |

[thanks for your response... The Friend's company is here in nigeria not in the UK.. Again please can you explain better what you mean buy if the people I want to act as their house help can afford the money to pay.. I intend to pay for the expenses if they agree since they already have their visa.. (I pay for my visa, hostel for us.. But what I understand is that you are advising me to go for a student visa and explain why I have been out of school for so long? mimilyrics: |
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 7:41pm On Jun 22, 2020 |
Thanks for the clarification. A Nigerian employer can't sponsor a UK work visa except they have a subsidiary + T2 license in the UK. Aside from the money, the rules have changed a lot with lots of restrictions as a result of human trafficking amongst other reasons. You can now only spend 6 months in the UK on the domestic worker visa (you'd also need to have worked as a help for 1 year prior to application) and it's subject to your employer's stay in the UK. If you're looking at moving to the UK, biko negodu that route. Pls don't be too desperate to move from Nigeria to avoid falling victim of misrepresentation, scams or other undesirable schemes. Your friend's company can sponsor you to study in the UK if it's an international company; the company can't sponsor your visa as a domestic staff without justifying it with payslips, employment confirmation e.t.c. If you're interested in a visit visa, ensure that your company is paying you (pay yourself a salary even if you are a sole proprietorship) because a company's funds isn't for personal use. You can back your personal account showing your salary for 6 months + your company docs. This shows that you have funds available to you + ties that to Nigeria. If you would like to study, you can but you'd need to do your findings and be prepared for the attendant financial investment required. Don't make any decision in a hurry to avoid filling in information that could come back to bite you in the a**. sandra50: 1 Like |
