There was a major update(Android 10) before this one.

Just got the phone today. Do you know how to change font on note 8 pro please? Been searching for how to do that all day.

That's the Android 10 update. You need to install that one first before this new one will pop up.

For fonts. Change your region to India from additional settings. Go to theme app, check for fonts and download and apply your choice. Make sure your Mi account is created and signed in.

After applying your font you can change your region back to Nigeria.

They are fixing the SIM going off like Nigerian NEPA for some devices.

I started experiencing this in my RN7 today o. Initially thought my sim extender was damaged until I restarted the phone and it was seeing sim 1
I don restart am like 5 times today alone

Thanks chief...will work on this now. Also the default Google keyboard is sort of too small abeg, I've set it to the extra-tall option but no change. How can I make it bigger please? Or recommend a better keyboard to me please.

I am okay with GBoard and I use it on normal but you can try SwiftKey

Just changed the font, was about to create the mi account then read where it says I won't be able to change my region again after creating the mi account. Does it mean I can change to alternative fonts whenever I want to?

Guys, I just got the redmi 8 and it's a pretty good phone. So this evening, i was charged #50 for something i don't know of by airtel. Has anyone experienced this before?

This problem wasn't on RN7 check your SIM extender.

It's perfectly fine o. Network is now vanishing and coming back in its own. I can only accuse my network provider now.... Issh

Please gurus in the house I need help o, my mi max 2 battery started draining rapidly few months ago, I changed the battery but it's still the same. Charge the phone to 100% even if I shut it down all through the night, in the morning it will display something like 30%.

The annoying part now, is sometimes the phone will be on about 95% battery then it will suddenly reboot and what I will see will be 50%. The worst is whenever the battery gets to about 40% the phone just shutdown.

I have done everything, changed battery, factory reset, flashed a new custom ROM, root the phone so I could install greenify, recalibrated the battery with the calibration app

I don't know what the problem could be, do I have to buy another battery again or could it be a hardware issue?

Create your mi account while in Nigeria Region. After creating account you can.now change region to India to change fonts and back.

All this are a sign of a bad battery.

There is a new update still in public stable testing, you will get it soon. Except if you are impatient to wait for an OTA. Then download full Recovery ROM and install manually.

Not sure. You should have waited for a response before creating the account.

I'm yet to create the account. Changed the region and font first, then was about to create the account when I read a message on the page that said I won't be able to change my region once the account has been created, I kuku cancelled the account creation abeg to seek better counsel first before I go go lock myself. And I also observed that when I changed my region back to Nigeria, the font option vanished from to the themes app. What do you think please?
