Personally I've nothing against the institution of marriage. Nothing worth having in this life of ours comes easy - and like every fulfilling relationship, it takes a lot of work/sacrifices.

It only takes knowing that one girl, that one girl who's always got your back. You feel it in your guts that that's the one girl for you; your ride-or-die, but you can't be too naïve enough to think she would wait on you forever. So you man-up, put on your big-boy pants and make a decent woman out of her, else you risk loosing her to someone else. If you think marriage sucks, try living with yourself knowing the LOYL is married to someone else; the mere thought of her answering his last name, carrying his seed and him getting to enjoy everything that comes with being with her - mahn, that shìt would wreck you in ways you could never imagine.

In the eventuality that someday you both wake up and fall out of love with each other after giving it your all; then there can be no regrets, nothing lasts forever anyway. . .but at least you tried. Nothing gets to me like regrets, especially pertaining to things I failed to do because of my big ego.

Most of the excuses most guys are giving are not the reason they don't want to get married. Most of the guys have become their own bondange and they keep shifting the blame to the ladies.

If you are scared to marry, it may point to the fact that you came from a family devoid of love and of good marital happiness exist.
If you parents are always fighting over everything, you will tend to see no need for you to continue the kind of life you saw your parents live/living.
So it will be very difficult to convince you of any benefit of getting married.

If you have bn so unfortunate to be meeting wrong ppl in your relationships, this will still make you feel that even if u get married, your spouse will still be behaving the same way you have experienced in ur past relationships.

Another issue is that of a guy that has bn into women so very much. When you have so many girlfriends, you will be so much confused of the one to get married to. Sometimes, you will even be scared of getting married cos you will think that one of the girls will get offended and come and scatter the marriage for you.
If you have bn so much into women that the time ppl expect you to get married, or most of your friends have gotten married, you will become ashamed to even talk of getting married cos you beliv that ppl may not even be so excited to tell you congrats. They will rather use the phrase like; "So Finally" to greet your invitation to them.

Another reason may be those guys thinking that once they got married, they will be caged and may not be able to chase as many girls as they want.

Finally, some guys are not just worth getting married to. Who will marry ur type? You need to work on you character and your look. Even when you are ready to get married and ur look and character are so dirty, my dear no one will marry you even if you have the cash.
The look here does not imply bn ugly. I mean those guys that cannot just take care of their appearance. You hardly bath. You have never bn seen wearing a good cloth. You are always smelling etc.

Giving excuses is not a solution. Your eyes will clear when you see your friends going around with their fully grown children while you are there giving excuse how women are cheating in marriage.

I think it's plain common sense. Most people here are busy shifting blame and citing a million and one reasons why marriage is a scam.

But the truth is that none of them is ready to take responsibility. They don't want to adjust their ways to accommodate their spouses. They still want to carry their excess baggage around and expect the spouse to live with it.

Marriage takes work from both parties.
