The part in bold shows u probably don't understand how to play coys that are relatively illiquid.
U don't wait to trade-off or exit in bulk. ...u seek to execute in trenches/proportions at a pre-determined position size in line with ur investing personality and laid out goals.
Trade execution has to be STRATEGIC, else u get trapped !!
I mentioned it here how I exited over a 40-40-20 % mapping.(see post above)
Its just like when u hold 20-50M unit of ZENITH bank. ...U must seek to activate the same exit pattern.

That N3M u mentioned could have bought only 7.5M unit. NEIMETH was on full bid, doing well average daily and weekly volumes for near 2 weeks, with volumes sometimes surpassing 5M @ highest bid price when its on full bid.
An investor with 7.5M units only needs to sell 2.5M @ the day high everyday for 3 days.(or 1.5M for 5 days). He could easily started out his exitN250 above N2.2 and sell off before the pullback.

Like I always tell folks;
Dont just seek to be an investor... be a STRATEGIC ONE !!

Not so strategic for people left holding the Kaya. All this one you are saying sir, I have been in the trenches of illiquidity and dirty mud pulling me and my asset down slowly while we watched on with nothing to do. Strategy you say? Strategy is useless when you can’t predict mass human behaviour or the psychological Capacity of people in the market. Finance is much more about psychology than knowledge of Finance itself.

What other people could have done doesn’t matter. It is what happened that I am saying and if you check what someone here posted, you will see there was a huge volume on the 26th, most probably the day of the cash out, the day of the soldado...

And what then happened days after that? The numbers don’t lie. Neimeth keeps crashing down daily and shares traded keeps going down with it. Classic pump and dump. I have experience in the crypto world seen it very well, so I know the pattern. All those mathematics you are doing... lol! grin

I agree on this. That's why it's important to understand trading patterns of stocks.Neimeth is a stock that when it moves, it moves and when it drops, it drops.

When you buy a stock like Neimeth, you buy in volume but when you sell, you sell in tranches.

Why do you think an investor put money on AG Leventis, Dangflour and the likes and even bought them out at premium?

Did you remember your wrong view on FCMB some few years back. Most of my post come to past. Maybe you are among those it doesn't favour. As for NSE market, I am a full time investor who always like to increase his stake in sound fundamental stock at good lower price.

I understand you want to add more units to your holding. You have a lot of time to buy cheaper sometime this year but for now,I won't agree with you that Bonanza is coming next month.

I hope this is the bone of contention?

If many people here bought in volume and try to sell in trenches like your strategy is suggesting, I can bet out of that “many”, 90% will still be trapped. The rest will average down the sales to 10-30% of their money. That is if they even see anyone to buy it. Lol!

From another perspective,

Your post below didn't show the entire picture. Neimeth was consistently doing full bids for days with full bids well above 4M not adding other lower bids.

So if you calculate the total volume if everything was mopped up, the total volume will be way past 60M or more as opposed to what you see.

You have experience not by what happened to others but to you. So I will understand why you want to be careful and play it safe with all your future investments. some are yet to get to where you are currently at and please allow them to learn there is always a lesson to pick from this market at every moment. I always remember Oracle, he will say, I am a fat man and there is little room for me to get out when everyone is trying to get out at the same time. I am yet to become a fat man like him and I am still learning how to play this JIJO.

Apparently the first point of call is capital preservation. If any stock does not satisfy that,

please keep your money.

Ur already forgiven bro !!
...but if up until now, u still do not see the potential in NEIMETH, and the overall value drive in the healthcare sector(even in the global scene), then I AM SORRY, I CAN NOT HELP U !!

U talk about volume as if U don't understand what it means to say that a coy is ILLIQUID.
Hear this;
The illiquid nature of an asset is not adjudged from the overall value(which is a function of price and vol) but on VOLUME alone(which is a function of its OS).

That said, I'd feel as much cool when a person sees clear enough proof for a perspective and agree, as I would when they don't.
...if Neimeth was a case of P & D to u, then pls kindly live on with it. wink cheesy grin
U see investment is about perspectives, so it's very ok to hold divergent views.
...that's what makes for the dynamic nature of the mkt and determines the flow of funds.

Selah.

See sir, In cases like these only a few can cash out and that is relative to how much they put in. I am telling you that pump and dump is not large enough for a certain amount of cash that some people here will definitely laugh at.

See en, what made Neimeth so special that the value rose like that? It was the perfect Security for the pump and dump. That is what some securities are good for. Pump and dumps.

They didn't sell but alloted some of their assets to a subsidiary company. They have 7 holding companies managing different assets in the group. In my opinion, the company hasn't lost any asset rather maybe the effect of low oil price on their earnings

Aviation industry here is the most hit. NACHO has been stylishly offloading since last week while propping up prices.

Dividend hunters should be careful. Upon the 30k dividend, people are still bidding lower. Keep monitoring till qualification day.

I am not talking about “theory of liquidity relativity” here.

Look at the bids and asks, then the daily volume and see how they gradually go up, then after a certain point, ultra-high volume (cash out), and then a continuous daily drop with a drop in volume. Why? What fundamentals Or Technicals influenced this?

Even at current price Neimeth is still overvalued, more expensive than GSK and Fidson mentioned.
