1. University of Huddersfield (Middlesbrough)
2. University of West England Bristol

Huddersfield university is a good university though the city itself is a bit quiet, Huddersfield is not in Middlesbrough, its in west Yorkshire, is closer to Bradford and Leeds

Yes its quiet, not as busy as Bradford and Leeds, You will be able to get part time student jobs as its common with cities with large university.

Its not too far from Manchester though..about 45-50mins depending transport.

Does the program come with placement? in which field do you work? is it O&G or FMCG?

The key thing I would advise is research the city you are going to and look at companies and vacancies available. I am not sure right now of the prospects for Supply Chain .. if you could do something something else..I would advise that..but before Skymoore comes for me ..let me run

It comes with an optional placement offer, though it's a one year course.
Presently work in that capacity in a real estate company.
Actually going to Birmingham City University.
Already did my research on job opportunities via Google no negative feedback tho, but nothing beats opinion of people over there.
As per changing course, would rather do it and come back naija or another country �

It was good.. there was no placement opportunity during my time (2011) but it helped broaden my understanding of what supply chain entails...
I was eager to come back and utilise the degree well but I had difficulty changing from my previous field(O&G) intoFMCG which was where I wanted to work in.
So I got a better job in HSE and utilised my new skills in research, presentation, communication and negotiation...

And I am not against that..the general assumption is that most people want to invest in this journey for better exposure and possibly a start to a better life..while a few who still have strong job links here want to get the certificate, international exposure and come back home. Both groups are okay..that's why I said since he wants to come back home and he loves this career, there was no need to discuss further on why he should change to a course that is more aligned to working in UK. Hope I have clarified things for everyone..

You should look at the importance of supply chain management before talking prospects
Especially for UK that's more into importation also they have the highest supply chain management vacancies in the world followed closely by USA, Germany and Netherlands
Covid 19 has done harm but after we pull through most countries will diversify their business from to China to other countries especially manufactured products

Don't know about university of Huddersfield but I can vouch for UWE, Bristol. School is top notch one of the best schools in England, however most of their programs is starting by January 2021 so you might want to think about that

Am also going to uwe. From my findings, the place is top notch in almost all ramification. Coincidentally for me, my undergraduate coursemate in Naija is now a lecturer with them in same postgraduate course am going for.
