Don't know if you got answer already.

Q1: Having more than one broker doesn't hurt.....just be sure to do things right when opening additional account to forestall any issue that may come up in future.

Q2: Its possible to tick coys you don't have their shares yet when submitting e-dividend forms.
However, it's always advisable to buy even if it's 10 units of such stocks to avoid stories that touch when you eventually get them. Some of our registrars are still trying to upgrade.
Thanks

Why are you people giving assignments to your seniors to do?

Even today or yesterday, chibuking listed good number of stocks for a similar questions.

Why don't you people go through pages before repeating same questions?

I wonder who will have time to answer these which brokers and which stocks to buy issues..........

FCMB seems to be a good JIJO stock. Since January 2018 it has been traveling sideways between 1.46 to 3.65 (never gettingany close to 3.65 though). That wide bar has trapped prices for a very long time and will continue to do so.

Implications are that whenever it retraces to 1.5 buy without fear, since 2018 it has been making that touchdown atleast once ever year.

The chart is a little cluttered as it was taken on my mobile. It is a monthly time frame by d way.

I also noticed that covid-19 has had no effect on the stock.

You too sabi. Na dis stock they give me annual 40% then but I have been unable to board it this year since its yet to get to my 1.5 range.

Go and open accout with a broker first.
I recommend Morgan Capital.
We have quite some other ones which you can get if you read few pages of this thread back.
After account opening, you can come back to ask what to buy......because what will be giving to you now might not be the best ones again at the point of buying.

Snr Loco no vex. Lol. grin

You might have to go back a few pages to read recommendations for stock picks

BUT

If I'm to advice you o

These are the companies you should be investing slow and steady overtime in

DangCem/BUA
GTBank/Zenith/ Fidelity (if you are a dividend junkie like myself, you will love fidelity)
Then you can sprinkle a bit of
Nestle
UCAP

DISCLAIMER

NA just suggestion o

I'm not responsible for your decision to invest or not to invest

But from the best of my knowledge
These are some good picks you can be buying and building on slow and steady

BUA interests me
That's why I'm increasing my positions there

But that's me

Pls do due diligence as well
And listen to other suggestions then compare and contrast.

All the best to you

If you can still wait till next month of July, you can get most of sound fundamental stocks at their good lower price.
Stocks like
Zenith bank
UBA
Afriprudent
Ucap
Fidelity
Fcmb
Dangote cement
GTB
Sir Chi, this list is golden. However, I do not understand the need to wait until July because no one can accurately predict the market. He should gradually begin to position himself now, depending on the funds in his disposal. Although, he might wait for a pullback in Afriprudent and Ucap.

FCMB at 1.5 is okay but I was referring to UACN there.
He said he needed it at N2 and I asked why.
Is it because there were lots of insider dealings or he has another reason?

Anyway, I'm currently reading some bulletins and member's comments on this UACN unbundling.
I know the issue had/has been over-flogged here but so far, I think the outcome is going to be positive.
Let me keep digging......... tongue
