This session was organized to help calm the nerves of foreign investors now awash with bailout dollars but worried about Nigeria’s faltering economy and its likely ability to trigger further devaluation. Mr. Emefiele did not confirm if another devaluation was in the offing. Rabbidoracle, The above is from Nairametrics write up on a recent CBN event where fx issues were discussed. Even though i pray for the inflow of those free foreign funds there by leading to a massive bull. However, there is too much uncertainty in this market for that bull to happen anytime soon. The CBN is living in denial hence a second round of devaluation is inevitable. I also see the current sideways trades happening for a while. 3 Likes |

1kinggy: The day I registered here was not the day I heard about this forum.I was a guest member following the thread and found it interesting before becoming a registered and active member.Same thing is applicable to them(newbies ).They didn't just become an active member within seconds without following the posts for sometime. Stock recommendations are done weekly if you follow the analysts page. You can't recommend or list good stocks to buy this week and still recommend another same week. My advice for them is to follow the forum for at least a week before asking for recommendations of stocks. This will help to reduce all these repeated questions. The stocks chibuking recommended for all yesterday are classic stocks. I think Dr Awo pointed out good stocks too for us to glance.Listing stocks to buy everyday will confuse people not Loco.Just fill like explaining to you my reasons. Good morning. 11 Likes |

UACN UACN. Who knows the game they are trying to play. Or is it a major share holder trying bailout funds for personal problems. Is it the case that he has seen something minority shareholders can't see and thus decided to bail out? Only time can tell what is going on in that company. But for me, I will rather watch by the sideline and learn cos I no too like suspense, definitely not in this corona period. If its any consolation, the fact that Stanbic nominees, another major shareholder that is know to be frugal in its dealings have not yet started selling could mean that there is no cause for alarm. 1 Like |

Mpeace: Stanbic IBTC nominees, Mutual fund managers, pension fund managers, insurance companies and other institutional Investors were caught up in Oando. Whereas some retail Investors bailed out at between N20 and N30, before the auditors complained about the going concern ability of the company. Never say never. Not a recommendation to buy or sell the stock in question, but to always have plans B,C and D in case things don't turn out the way we planned and expected 6 Likes 1 Share |

Tvegas: The only thing that can derail the bull on NSE is if there is another selloff in the global world markets(US and EU combined). And that run will be stopped abruptly because Fed will start to buy stocks Fed has entered one-way! Dem no fit go back. So markets may stay artificially inflated for a while due to increased pumping. Maybe if investors lose faith in the dollar and fear to hold dollar debt, na that time the main oso Abiola will happen. Everyone is looking for which country will be safe to hold their hot money till the crisis in the US abates. They know that the US and EU stock markets are running faster than the economic recovery and this is an anomaly. 3 Likes |

Do you know that an investment that gives a constant monthly return of 10%, will grow N1 million to N3.1 million in a year, grow it to N9.4 million in 2 years and N29 million in 3 years when compounded. To be sincere is this possible? I don't think so. 1 Like 1 Share |
