OdenigboAroli... Please don't do this here. You know me. I don't mix ethnic politics with Football.

I don't even discuss it.

So let's just pretend you never said this and carry on talking football. Merci. smiley

IDENNAA:

Nnaa, why are we being so pretentious about our pervasive ethnic hatred...Isnt ethnic hatred and mistrust the reason why Buhari openly told us he only appoint his people(northerners)? Isn't that he made sure none of the service chiefs is Igbo.

And , now I just asked a simple question and they want to crucify me because I am Igbo....again , is Zaidu a northerner like Buhari ?

Let me tell you what a child is.
A guy who claims to be grown but cries on the internet that a moniker abused his mum then runs away from the thread for months because people did not defend him. Who does that?. That’s a child, fact! When I see you call several monikers childish here, I just shake my head.

Mr Joebie,

TheSupernerd's respect for his mother was remarkable, and his respect for all mothers was made evident by his grievance when he sensed lack of a widespread censure. Mr Joebie, using this particular instance against TheSupernerd is not healthy, and if this is your basis for calling him a child, then i won't be ashamed to be identified as a child, because I have a lot of honour for my mothers.

Shocker! Santa Clara wins it! 4-3 against Benfica. Zaidu had a pretty decent game. Bagged a goal for himself too. Very speedy and skillful player.

TheSuperNerd:
Added time is here... VAR came to Santa Clara's rescue and they got a penalty for a handball.

Game tied at 3-3 now.

Dude this is the internet. If a moniker does not know you personally on a faceless forum and you get all sensitive because they abused your mother they don't even know, then you have a problem. And if you go further to get mad at other monikers for not defending you, then you have a bigger problem taking it too personal. We are not in primary school or kindergarten when someone says your papa or your mama and then you start to act up. get a skin. To start with he called me childish, so recalling that event is very appropriate.

Everyone?? No sir.... A lot of us believed in him ..even after Komekn tried to rubbish him for his bad experience at Rangers.

You believeed in the sentiment not the facts.

Rubbish him he rubbished himself, with his conduct and zero perfomances. At that time. Is stating the facts rubbishing someone. Tell me one thing that l said that was UNTRUE. Those measured and established facts underpinned my opinion.

What is your opinion anchored on ❓ Sentiment based emotive presumption IMO.

He is moved to a very lowly league that's rated on the 20 margin in Europe. However, is he the most outstanding players in the league❓ Is he among the top 5 goal scorers in this league.

He has scored 12 goals so far this season, there are three players all on 12 goals. So he is within the top ten goal scorers in the league. Is that outstanding for a league, l would rate about EFL one or even lower.

Is that enough to replace Osimhen in Lille, l very much doubt it. The Belguim league is rated just within the top 10 in Europe. And so you can easily make a step up to a league that's 3/4 places above your league. That's what Osimhen did. But moving 14/15 steps up to French league one, that is a lot of steps in one move.

If you listen to the hype here you will think Sadiq was going to Manchester United and Liverpool. And is highly rated in Europe.

Umar previously had 2/3 seasons in much better leagues in Europe but could not cut it at that level and was found wanting. So has he improved enough to step up or is that his level

So my view is not emotive sentiment based but objective. He has a long way to go, he is doing well in Serbian league but it's simply not good enough to be a contender for an SE slot at this time.

l find all this transfer talk concerning him very understandable media hype manipulation.

Obinna Nwobodo and Vincent Onovo both played all 90mins for Ujpest as they secured a 2-1 win over Zalaegerszegi TE in the Hungarian Top flight.

Also, both Uche Henry Agbo and youngster, Mujaid Sadick played all 90 mins for Deportivo La Coruna in their 1-0 away win over Elche in the Spanish Segunda.
Both players bagged Sofascore ratings of 7.1 and 7.2 respectively. Solid outing from the duo.

I am more concerned with people who have respect for thier fellow citizens irrespective of their socio- economic standing.

There many people show respect to thier parents and people the consider to have something to offer.

But dismiss anybody with total disdain and derogation that doesn't fit thier description of "happening" or something to offer.

Well, he did well in Holland before Rangers brought him.
Football is not some rigid mathematical formulea.
He might cut it in the French league. I think the style of play of the scottish league must have been a problem or Gerard did not understand him.
You are TOO JUDGMENTAL. It might be that his new coach in serbia understands his skillful style and fitted him into a formation that works for him.
He was not even given enough game time in Rangers.
Besides, he has improved. All these stuff about moving 14 steps up is just there. He only needs to work harder.
His assist record is wonderful for a striker and that might distinguish him. It shows that he has play making skills and good llink up play which is valuable for a forward (17 goals 16 assists).
Every coach likes a player for different reasons.
I cannot argue again i am tired.
I am tired of your judgmental attitude

Sadiq barely saw game time at Rangers. After Gerrard told the media that Sadiq was being lazy, you came here to rubbish him....we remember it!
Stop this "he moved to a lower league" thing already...until this year, the Scottish league was on the same level with the Serbian league on the UEFA coefficient ranking.. He is playing in a decent league and doing well...
He played in the Dutch league too where he scored 5 goals and 3 assists in 12 games...
You just decided to use his Rangers stint to rubbish him as per say you are more biased regarding British football..

The fact that Lille are monitoring him as Osimhen's replacement says a lot about how good he is...

Ola Aina (Torino) played the final 25 mins + added time of his side's 1-0 home victory over Ekong's Udinese.

Ekong was benched for all 90 mins+.

Aina in 25 mins made 2 tackles, 2 clearances, 1 interception, blocked a shot, and has a passing accuracy of 75%.

Very very decent showing in just 25.

He remains Nigeria's highest rated defender in Europe right now according to Whoscored.

Sadiq Umar Transfer Update

From a foreign site, Teleksinfo (translated).

There is every chance that Umar Sadik will leave Partizan this summer, and as things stand, Partizan will be fine. The Nigerian played a great season in Humska, hoping for goals, accumulated a considerable number of assists, and the miniature with Degenko in the semifinals of the Cup, raised his price even more.

It is claimed that Sadik will not be sold for less than 15 million euros, and now Kalcomercato has new information.

As things stand, Lille is interested in the Nigerian, but there is one condition.

If the French manage to sell Viktor Osimhen (they are asking for 60 million euros), they will pay as much as they need for Sadik.

The Italians write that Monchengladbach also wants it!

Sounds like Mochengladbach are looking to steal a March on Lille in the battle for Sadiq's signature. And ohhh, in Serbia, Sadiq is called Sadika or Sadik. Lol.... Expected to make his last appearance in Partizan colors in the Serbia Cup final vs Vojvodina this Wednesday
