Correcto: The north won't trust them since they killed Ahmadu Bello. They must go under the cover and recommendation of Yoruba. The whole problem began on Jan 15 1966. Those IPOB boys dont know their own history. 6 Likes |

bigfish3k: Nobody is frustrating you. Igbos killed Ladoke Akintola too, we never retaliated. Nobody killed Nnamdi Azikwe. He died peacefully in Enugu. This is why I said Igbos don't know their own history. They were responsible for a lot of atrocities in our politics. All these Buhari and Obasanjo saw these things first hand. That's the reason Igbos are not trusted till date. 8 Likes |

bigfish3k: Tell the Igbos to move on too. They caused everything and now they're playing the victim card. The idiot called Nnamdi Kanu doesn't tell his ignorant followers the background story. He just shouts Biafra and refers to the Civil War as a genocide. As if Igbos didn't kill Nigerian soldiers. When Igbos are ready to co-operate, they will do the right thing. For now, let's keep blaming ourselves... Since some of you think that's the solution. 5 Likes |

Will you keep quiet! If you have nothing reasonable to say must you write comment. You believe the igbos dont have tangible resources. why are you all enemy of progress? I will appreciate if you the yorubas can stop hiding under the umbrella of the hausas because you are nothing but snitch. I see yorubas as a tribe that cannot be independable as a country. They prefer to sell their rights just because of stipend. Mind you, if you want to know how the yorubas behaves, travel abroad and see your tribe denying their fellow nigerian. How was Buhari named the speaker for Boko Haram? If you're insinuating that the commander in chief of the armed forces of Nigeria is a Boko Haram member, then you really have to be careful so as not to land yourself in prison for libelous claims. You can keep talking about people who are doing evil and how that should help them become president. When you are ready, go to Abuja and collect staff of office from Buhari. In case you don't know your own history, the problems of Igbo started when Ironsi Aguiyi planned the first coup and killed the Sardauna of Sokoto, something which hitherto had never taken place. This was followed by the Biafra war, where your beloved Ojukwu claimed Niger Delta as Biafra after discovery of crude oil. It was all about the crude oil. Ojukwu was a thief. There is more oil in Ondo state than the entire south east. Google is your friend. Igbos don't have any tangible resource apart from their well developed business acumen, which we love and respect them for. You see Igbos need Nigeria more cos your people trade everywhere. That's the money they send back to the east.[/quote] |

famulan:I don't really believe in regional or tribal presidency,is as a result of failure of leadership that people started clamouring for tribal representation. How long will u keep clinching on any narrative to support injustice against igboman ?before Nnamdi kanu how far with igbo presidency? Nnamdi just started 6years ago?the hate has been there it has nothing to do with Kanu's agitation 1 Like 1 Share |

bigfish3k: Brother please; genti: First - if anybody claimed that "Yorubas deserve this or that", I would give them the same answer: work at it, not make noise about what you think you deserve. Other parts of the country have been far more politically astute than Igbos, and that's why they have the majority of the power. Second - the desire for Biafra is perceived to be universal. In other words: most of the people who would make good allies are being turned off by secessionist rhetoric which (it must be said) Igbo politicians have been reluctant to denounce. If you're not seen to be speaking out against something, your silence amounts to consent (in the mind of the public). Third - unlike SW and NC folks who work behind the scenes to consolidate power, what I hear from the SE is mostly: "we should be allowed to..." What I want to see is SE politicians (and agitators) working silently to get power. It's not by noise or by complaining... it's by building alliances. Fourth - I'm not from the North, nor am I from SW. If we can't take constructive criticism from our own people, what do we gain? "Stoop to conquer" appears to be a saying lost on us. Fifth - I'm still very upset that the Oba of Lagos asked us to "go an jump into the lagoon", and have refused to build anything or add any value in Lagos. I hope others from SS and SE will get tired of being insulted and develop our own place, and strengthen our political standing nationally. This is done with hard work, foresight, and dedication to the cause. Not by posting every other week that we deserve this or that. Ironically, by asking, it shows we're the weak ones (politically). 4 Likes 1 Share |
