I just got this avalon, and i have been having the challenge of the alarm system goin off on its own. It now blows without stop. It wil stop and start again. And i do not hv remote control. I have had one guy who said it could be central lock and he has somehow worked on it, yet it stil happened this night. Neighbours were complaining, i had to come remove d battery head.

Please any idea what could be the cause and solution to this?.�‍♂️

Does your dash read "hood open" even though its tightly closed, just like in toyotas??
If the hood latch sensor is bad, it tells the car security system someone is trying to break in and therefore make the alarm to go off.

Simply take it to a reliable car electrician to bypass the wire, there's a wire socket directly under the latch, he'll know what to do wt it, the dash will read closed at all times, no alarms unnecessary alarms again.
