Good morning nairalander, I'm sorry to bother us but I need to safe my marriage and my extended family. I have this uncle who is very good to me and we are both doing well together but the problems is that he has a lot of female relationship outside his matrimonial home but my wife always feel insecure anytime he sees him doing that because he always has that sense that I might pick out of his female relationship behavior but I'm not the type. Anytime she discuss his family with me, we do pick up fight because I don't believe in the saying that the sheep that flock with dog shall eat shit. |

So does she want you to turn your back on your uncle, like making you both go against each other and becoming enemies, destroying ur relationship with ur uncle as family or what is she trying to do now? There is nothing you can do than stand on the truth which is you can't deny your uncle who has been good to you and you are not taking after his lifestyle, at least not yet. The uncle whose lifestyle you've known before you married her? How many men who don't have womanizing uncles n fathers are yet unfaithful to their wives? If she's not satisfied with that truth, she can leave(that's d worst she can do) and if she's asked why she left, she would be foolish to say she acted just on suspicion and not confirmation. It is foolish for a wife to pick up quarrels with her husband over an offence he has not committed yet. Even in d court, judgment is passed on facts not feelings. You're in position to teach her her lesson by simply being unbothered. Truth doesn't struggle. She would either come to terms with the truth and fix her insecurity by herself or ignorantly open a way that would make her fears eventually come to pass. Please don't ruin your extended family just on one woman's insecurity... Maintain your healthy relationship with your uncle,..
