the screen has no business with face unlock,the earpiece flex that connects the faceID is connected to the board directly buy only hangs on the screen frame.weather your screen is original or not,it shouldn’t affect the Face ID.I have see so many issues like this so is not a matter of screen.i am afraid if the ear speaker is working there is little to be done about the faceID unless the ear piece too is not working.anyway you can still bring it for check up/possible solution.you don’t pay if ur Face ID doesn’t work so there is no cost for trying.

bro you are not having issues with the earpiece that show the clip the guy is saying is well fixed but the sensor casing work with a copy screen except original

My iPhone X.'s screen shattered so I changed it but the face unlock doesn't work any more . I have spent a lot on the phone repairing it . Someone told me that the repairer probably used a fake screen that's why it's acting up . I don't really know what to do.

Confirm if the light sensor is still working, if not then that's the real cause of the problem and needs to be replaced. If it's still working, then it's the dot projector that controls the face id that's fault, if damaged, it's can't be fixed but if there's something obstructing, it needs to be checked and it would start working again. Good day House, i have a problem with my Huawei Y5 prime phone.
The topmost part of the screen not wider than 2mm is insensitive and as such i cannot draw down my notification screen to access data, auto-rotate, and wifi hotspot unless i open an app that permits me to auto-rotate screen and do d needful.
It has made me to opt for selling it so many times but how do i solve this. Is it the full screen or a flex issue?? Phone is just 3 months old and neat.
