This will be a hard nut to crack, here are my reasons.

People attend wedding and burial ceremony in Nigeria, majority are not invited. As a result of hunger, several people move from street to street looking for where there are burial or wedding reception.

Secondly, it will be impossible to submit names of those invited. Example: if you invite 50 person most likely 15 will attend plus additional friends that will accompany them to the occasion.

You will also notice that 50 uninvited guest will attend the occasion just for a plate of rice and one or two bottles.

The government suspend burial and marriage/wedding now.

This is a good initiative, we all can support the government and communities too, just like organisations are doing, let's take GTBank for example. They ve supported the government in multi dimensions.

And recently partnered with babban gona and other groups to provide daily meals to needy Nigerians.

Fixed my traditional wedding ceremony for May 2nd, but the ban on gathering made us change the date... We had less than 20 people in attendance on June 7.. Those that were meant to travel from lagos joined us on Zoom and it was fun.... Me and my wife saved hundreds of thousands... This Covid-19 reset our brain sharply.... grin grin grin grin grin


I and my babe too are set for ours, I'm even trying to take advantage of this number of gathering to our advantage by August, na just to pay full bride price, use 50k cook for the few attendants then take my babe home no time
