OBAGADAFFI: A property of N30 million can't give me a rental income of N10 million. The highest rental income you can get from such a property is N3 million 7 Likes |

emmanuelewumi:The truth is that buying of AIICO pension fund will not make them increase their final year dividend, instead it will reduce it, because they will like to replace the retain earning use in purchase of the pension fund. They are stingy in giving dividend, they real need to improve in area of dividend payout to their shareholders. 2 Likes |

emmanuelewumi: Oga it depends. There is a property around Shomolu valued @ N15 million with rentals of N6 million. My point is if a business is generating lots of income no need selling. 3 Likes |

OBAGADAFFI: Valuation used for the calculations of land use charge is different from the market value of a property. You will be very lucky to get an empty plot of land at Shomolu for N25 million. Kindly offer the owners of the house valued at Shomolu N35 million if they will be ready to sell their house. Based on the rental income from the property they can only sell the house at N50 million 8 Likes |

robobo: Well for one the recapturing exercise initiated by PENCOM which is a prelude to the transfer window coming soon. All PFAs are mandated to recapture their customers' information in preparation for the transfer window. Any PFA that fails to recapture their customers' information within the stipulated time frame stands a chance of loosing the customer another PFA that successfully does that. Then the transfer window will give contributors the choice of porting from one PFA to another. So imagine the effect of the above regulations on small PFAs and the ones with over-bloated customer base like Stanbic-IBTC pensions. The industry is going to be very competitive soon, so there will be mergers and more acquisitions. 2 Likes |

OBAGADAFFI: Even that empty swampy land, buyers will buy for N40 million. Shomolu is the headquarters of printers in Lagos The rental income generated from the property of my late grand mother at Shomolu is more than what 2 duplexes at Lekki will give you. 7 Likes |
