https://www.nairaland.com/5471101/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/231#85092048 Someone asked about VFS and how to go about passport submission days ago. I was able to retrieve the link (above) to it but after several minutes of searching, I can't locate the moniker that requested for this response. I've decided to drop it here, just in case.. In that link by @Ebixxx, joo2018 was also quoted and he offered more links on the issue. All the best. Note: Below @Ebixxx's post, there were further clarifications by a fellow PPR holder at that time on payments. So further reading is advised. 4 Likes |

Good day House, My IELTS result is out and it wasn’t as i prayed for. I had L,R,W,S- 7.5, 7, 7, 7.5 Is it advisable i apply for a remark please? Can it happen my listening be upgraded from 8 from 7.5 if i apply for a remark? The trauma of going through the test process again scares me. Please advise me on what to do... |

Mo2020:Unfortunately listening and reading rarely change as they already have defined answers, unlike speaking and writing. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Thanks.. Well, the one I eventually passed, I prepared for it in one day, although I had prepared for and written the previous one less than two weeks prior to that time.I would say do your best, practice with Cambridge and https://ieltsonlinetests.com do the recent actual test for reading and listening. I think their listening are quite fast so it will train you to listen closer. For writing, you can contact Johnnybravo or Blissneye or Wasseynet or any of the verified writing tutors here. Some have a fee, others do for the love of God. In all, its not the length of time you take to practice. It's really about training your ears to listen attentively. I must tell you, luck is a big factor in passing this exam so pray you are lucky. All the best. FarmGang: 4 Likes 3 Shares |

Bro..I was in your shoes some months ago..I maxed out the other areas and I had a 7.5 in listening. The advice I got on this thread and outside was not to bother remarking listening. That listeming and reading often come back unchanged. It pained me, but I summed up courage and wrote it again. Be encouraged bro..it's not easy to gather the emotional strenght to rewrite that exam, but that may be your best choice now. Also, you will have another chance of maxing out the other areas. I recently went back to part 4 and saw a testimony of someone whose reading score changed when he remarked, so who knows, you can give remark a shot since it's 15k now. I wish you better luck next time. Mo2020: 1 Like |
