bro!...what are you trying to say exactly??
Do you want people to go to smaller cities to go learn polish or what?
People struggling to pay their rents in bigger cities Are you talking about the pandemic period when everyone was at home and couldn’t work?
You are in which city??
My school is paying the same amount with public schools (collegium civitas)
Give out facts bro not assumptions
The residence permit thing, even if they dn’t give residence permit....did you tell these folks here that they gon stamp your passport till they approve the residence permit??
And the rent depends on your choice...one could stay in a flat or in a room(it depends on your choice)....there are 700zl rooms, hostels
What exactly are you saying bro?
Please dn’t confuse people here

Bro I actually plan on coming to collegium civitas, would you say it's a good school and is it easy to get part time jobs so I can pay my rent, my tuition would be covered by my parents

I didn't say there are no jobs what I said is they don't pay well if at all u manage to find one. Most Poles travel to other countries to look for work and earn well. But its not the same with a person holding their student permit that's not enough most people will still insist u don't have their permit to work in their country. But if u are married to a person from Eu then its different. Poznan is not a place to find lots of foreigners u even struggle to cope with their language being spoken all over before u can even do anything . u hardly get a job even if there was there because those who are foreigners can speak the language be given priority u need to stay for a while to understand how things work here.
folks....you guys shouldn’t trust this guy
He’s been giving out wrong information all along. You see here, he’s saying there are no jobs in smaller cities

I was always here before I submitted my application and even after and I’m here now to give out the little information and my preparation for someone out there. Most people are ignorant bou this visa application thing and dn’t necessarily know what to do, I saw and a guy at the embassy saying his payment slip was made of 90k and some didn’t reserve accommodation, some didn’t attest their certificate (for people going for B.Sc), some didn’t reserve return air ticket...all these things are facts
Before I start any preparation at all, I drafted some lists and set out the setbacks and mainly worked on the setbacks that most people encounter but making sure my other documents are complete also.
My boy who’s already in Poland (ogaga360) put me through also and at the end of the day, I got my visa.
Every documents and preparation is on this list
I wrote everything here

Sponsor details and ID :- I used my mum’s employment letter and payment slip of 651k and national ID card, I submitted her promotion letter also, change of name certificate

Insurance:- I insure 365 days and 10days with Allianz insurance company for 25,219 Naira

Accommodation:- I reserved on booking.com( this right here is the most tricky one, if you are submitting 600k payment slip...dn’t go and reserve 200k room or hostel cos they will calculate that in a year compare it to your sponsors salary in a year. You can reserve hostel of 70k)

Flight reservation:- I reserve on goibibo.com, you can also reserve on emirate too

Land property:- I “believe” this serves as ties to home country but the names on the papers bear my surname (my father’s property)

Ties to home country:- I submitted my NYSC certificate and land property (I think ni o cos me sef I no understand this part but those are the documents are I submitted).

Went through Wizzdy profile and I couldn’t find anything related to positivity, All he does is to discourage people on this thread to switch to Germany cuz he feels Germany is better than Poland

All of a sudden you are now in Poland, Same country you discourage others about, I only feel bad for the people who listened to your advice from the past

This is a thread and we should not discourage others from applying to schools of their choices all because of the saying *This city is too big* you won’t get a well paid job* and the city is too small, language is going to be a barrier**

Everyone on here should apply to which ever school you can afford and stay positive, when you get to Poland you will definitely get a job in respective of the city you school!!!

nice one bro.

One thing I've come to understand about studying abroad is how informed you are about where your going. I have seen people go to places where nobody will love to go and they are making it.

All you need is a plan, research and build a mindset to cope in where you are going. Do your home work and you won't encounter any serious issue.

Based on my research about Poland there are jobs, though learning the language will go a long way. But if people are get jobs in Ukraine for $200h-$3-500h then why won't you find jobs in Poland that is in EU.

As for the resident permit issue i also heard of it but it not like you will have your documents rejected, it just a difficult process due to the fact that the departments in charge are running old school services making it difficult to meet up the high numbers of applications. So once you arrive start the process immediately.

Once you submit your application with all the required documents you will have no issue.

I'm just hearing poland expensive, if it rent I know but food no. Rent is expensive in every country especially when you stay out of campus. So stay on campus and save your money, if you want personal freedom and private space na your money go tell u.

By the way I heard residents permit is valid for 3 - 5 year. While you get a citizenship after 8years, how true is this ?

All in all poland is a place to be People from Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia, Asia etc are all running to Poland cause its a stepping stone to Europe.

Once you enter Europe, you don land b dat

Guy work dey no fear. You can even make enough to pay your fees if you live a moderate life. My family member a Lady make 400$ a month in Ukraine. she was able to pay her rent, feed , pay for bus pass and save enough to pay fees. After your first year you pay per semester, during holidays you can get a second job or work overtime if you work at a warehouse or factory.

Minimum wage In Poland is 560€, if you stay in a school hostel e bad as e bad 200€ go do u to chop, rent etc left with like €300 after. Do the maths even if saving €300 x12= €3600 (All this excludes hoilday/summer work and overtime) You can at least pay part of your fees with this.

No fear guy

People find jobs in Ukraine, Ukraine isn’t in EU and it’s not highly developed country like Poland. As a matter of fact, Ukraine is a developing country...many Ukrainians are in Poland (many like so many) just to come work
And about the resident permit...you said it all. With the difficult process, they will still stamp your passport till it’s ready.
Americans are even in Poland.
I can testify that Poland is sweet, delicious and good
Dnt let anyone discourage you
I almost gave up from reading posts in here
Dnt be discourage
Poland is good 2000000%

You are not applying to Canadian embassy, you don’t need a police report

Stick to the requirements listed on the Polish website website

someone was refused visa on ground on being a threat to Poland. He posted the refusal letter on this group can't say exact page. So I suggested getting a police report so no body will have an excuse to rejecting you Visa on such grounds.

Remeber Poland embassy where on Rambo mode 2016-2018 rejecting people visa up and down. Though not compulsory, to be on a save side get yourself a police certificate that stay you are clean
Re: Polish Student Visa by Nobody: 8:34am On Jun 27, 2020
Alright... You can get a police cert if that will make you feel better although I have not heard about anyone who attached a police cert to his/her documents when going to the embassy for submission

When you get to the embassy the consular will pick up the necessary documents needed from you and give you 5 days to bring back any missing documents

Yes, Wrocław is a very beautiful city but really, it's not expensive to live here at all. And Poland in general is very affordable compared to some schengen countries, this I know of.

Poland embassy does not require you to submit police character certificate before closing down for this pandemic, I don't know if they will when they reopen. But don't end up getting someone that will collect your documents mad, don't think it's funny. Arrange all of the necessary documents in order and don't get things complicated for yourself. If they need additional documents they will tell you and give you 7days to provide it.

Hello, good afternoon house I studied Pure and industrial chemistry and I am interested in migrating to Poland through studies, my questions are.

1. As a married man would my student visa permit me to travel with my wife or would she need to get admission also

2. The major concern of everyone has always been job prospects, please the jobs one can get in Poland is it just jobs that would pay rents only.
