I don't know if we are still in the flu season here grin but it's looking like there is gonna be a second wave of covid-19. A coworker of mine and his wife tested positive.. Oh boy the symptom he said he has no be joke o.. Make una for naija no play with this matter.

A few months ago, February l was in London for a meeting. Had to go on the tube, at that stage it was before lockdown and people were jam packed like sardines. At this stage l was already wearing face mask nobody else was on the tube.

I spoke about it here that l predicted deaths would reach 30k. Well that figure has been well exceeded with 65k it could be more.

We are easing lockdown for economic reasons not health and wellbeing.

I truly believe God has been merciful to Nigeria our capacity to test is very limited we really don't know how many people have been infected, recovered unknowingly and died.

I am thinking that Ben Chilwell is a no frills very effective left back that is highly over priced IMO.

I would call him a very good effective left back but bang average, l am not sure what you mean by that.

Lol

But I think he is

Stuff is Joel Obi lost form. Under Siasia he was very good but as from 2018 something snapped and he lost form.
I remember a friendly he played in just before the world cup. He was horrible in that match and seemed like a division 2 Nigerian league player. He practically put every foot wrong. As from then on, he has not been invited again.
I dont know why some locally produced Nigerian players are never consistent. In 2011 (under Siasia) he was good but 7 years later he was horrible.

Dude is better than Collins by far offensively. He is faster & always pick out his man with decisive crosses. Though i will still pick Collins ahead of him because his primary duty is to defend. Collins trump him in that department.

Really and he couldn't even make one cross in a match played in a backwater league like the Portuguese primera liga.

Abi na the goal wey him score dey totori you?

I think injuries didn't help him and then he started playing hard with reckless tackles which made me wonder if he was been defensive from tackles due to his past injury records or trying too hard to impress.

Joel is fine player who just lost form.

It wasn't just injuries... Prior to his recall to the national team by Rohr,he was performing well in the serieA..at least statistically... Then the hype started..

Abed dont disrespect the portuguese league. A league that produced c ronaldo bruno fernandes luis figo and many good players. It is a good league. What do you mean by backwater league. It lacks miney but the quality is there. Remember maurinho and porto

These cases you mentioned are quite few and far between.

Zaidu SANUSI isn't better than Jamilu Collins. Both are below average defenders

I disagree Mount had a very good game but some e of his decision making was very suspect and selfish.

Barkley lost steam for me even before the half ended. He is only 26 he has not upgraded his game. It was a case of diminishing returns after 30 minutes.

I was looking forward to seeing Loftus - Cheek replacing him. But it didn't happen although the subs in the second half all were strategic.

Bringing in a rampant Tega when City would have run out of steam and got complacent defending against a very very zero pace Giroud. Was key to the win, as he changed the game dynamics.
I still will insist Mount had a bad game. We need to give the stick when necessary. As i told Goodjoe, the errror of City brought about that win. If those errors didnt occur, I'm sure we would focus harder on Mount. But Since twas a win....

That part you said "He's only 26"....Lol

Wack. Does he love the wing? Naim sabi. He is depreciating to me. Fact!!

Loftus go Lost if them bring him on. Fact. City are too tech for that guy to have a big impart on that kinda game imo. At a point, even Willian was looking like a 2.

Ahem.... I absolutely disagree with yhe Tega making an impart on the game... But lets leave that.

To be honest a lot of our players give the impression it's all about money. Once they get that first big contract, they don't seem to strive to improve.

They just do enough to remain relevant.
I dream of just two or three players that want to at least take up half of the practice lifestyle of Messi and Cr7. I dunno why they don't think about this part atall. I personally feel it can make one indispensable, even at a young age.

And its now becoming a norm among defenders... Why arent they also catching up with the trends as well? Nawa o

When l say top team, l mean the top 5 teams in the top 3 leagues of Europe.
Only Dele Alli will do so. The rest wont even smell... Todd Cantwell ke? Mason?

Even at that, shouldave said it like this that first time more specifically.

But that's a hype still.

TAA will be a better pick.
