MishdaFish: I heard the guys at SEC are trying to solve this unpaid dividends problem this year. This is probably one of the move towards that. 2 Likes |

@ Chibuking81 pls try and go thru Cardinal stone's analysis on UACN carefully. They gave the worst scenario, which is still not worst as the case may be. Now, try and look at it from the best case scenario too. https://research.cardinalstone.com/storage/ResearchReports/CardinalStone%20Research%20-%20Company%20Update%20-%20UAC%20of%20Nigeria%20Plc_.pdf 3 Likes |

POST COVID-19, POST LOCKDOWN VALUE OF NIGERIA NAIRA. One would have expected the Nation finance Minister to brief the masses and companies on the wrought inflicted on the Naira by the double edged sword. Poor economic and pandemic. Since, the Minister has given us a room to work out the damages on the true value of the Naira, I had come out with this assumption. The burden on every one Naira is (minus) -N999. This is a terrible deficit that leaves no room for future generations. On every one naira- the government will most likely service debts with about - N500.00 The public service, military and polithievecians will gulp - N499. 00 Putting these into consideration, the market will most likely another bottom in the long run. For the ruling government of the North to balance the budget, there will be another attempt to impose heavy taxes on the hard working people of Southern Nigeria. There would be total removal of subsidies on PMS and other derivatives. Most likely, a litre at N260-N340 Tarriff on electricity will be UP. Import taxes will be adjusted northward Levies at the Airport will be upward Exchange rates will be affected, the converging point by 2023/24( $1=N999) Banks will be taxed heavily Breweries and Tobacco industries will pay more excise and sins taxes. This is a tough time and consequences of years of mismanaged economy, worsen by the Federal government OF the NORTH. This government will be adjudged as the worst in the history of Nigeria. The summation of dz is that every N1 at your disposal is carrying a burden of minus N999.00 (-999) Lastly, you can call me any name on dz faceless forum but not a prophet of doom. The reality is dawn already. Take home point, Keep investing in both local and foreign markets. In other words, Diversification is becoming a necessity. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Mcy56:Mcr56 it is better to leave some people alone let them even miss out on this unbundling project. At least let us see those that will cry had I know. After all Uchetoba, Myself, OGG, Yourself and many others have already done alot to enlighten them. Even some of us right now need more UACN. For instance Myself, Uchetoba, Seunn11 among others wants the price to drop to N5 and below so that we can increase our holdings. Let me also tell those that are still afraid of the UACN to stay clear if they are yet to buy the stock, and if they have alread bought to quickly go and sell from Monday. Since the price is still 'very high,' so that they will not lose money when the price drop to N5 or N2 (like some have predicted) and begin to complain. It is not even good to gamble with your money in the name of investment. Therefore, those that are not yet convinced about UACN and their unbundling project should please keep their money. So that the price can fall for those that are sure to be able to invest more. Regards, T2M2. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Justcul:I have already siad that I will respond to the question about the qualification date after the price of UACN drop to N5 or below, so that I can increase my holding in the coy to 100% of my portfolio from the current 80%. I have already done my own research on the UACN and the unbundling project so I already possess all the info that I need to make my decision about the coy. My decision to buy UACN is not based on hear say. Let me advice you to go and do due diligence about the stock or any other stock that you intend to buy, and allow the UACN to drop for those of us that have already done our own dd to be able to buy the more. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Godlylifeoneart: Government of the North Interesting However I'm optimistic that $1 will not fall to N1000 The bus stop at most will be N600 All the future contracts are pointing to that direction in WORST CASE SCENARIO. Beyond N600 The demand for dollar will experience demand destruction. But like u said Let's keep diversifying 1 Like |

Tvegas: Good response. I drove around when there was lockdown and it was a ghost town. I drove around now that everywhere has opened up and I'm impressed on the outlook for oil. This shows that refiners will be producing to meet the increasing demand. Maybe OPEC will still need to extend further the deadline for expiration of production cuts. Most people saying there will be fall after March 2020 may not be seeing the bigger picture. Soon eyes go clear. |

DexterousOne: I doubt if we can see it at N150. It should have fallen to N150 during the pandemic lockdown when all oil companies stocks lost value globally. Now all oil companies are picking up in prices. |
