Buhari was very unfair to Oshiomole with his decision to dissolve the NWC.

He has asked everybody to withdraw their court cases but this is far from a political solution. A political solution would have sufficed.

This party can never be United again because Giadom and his camp are happy with the dissolutin while Adams and his camp are unhappy about it.

When 2 kids fight for a toy and an adult takes it from them both, the real owner of the toy must feel agrievied while the kid who doesn't won the toy would feel satisfied.

In finding a political solution what Buhari would have done is to realise that only about 7 out of over 20 ward members suspended Adams from his ward.
This singular act of injustice should have formed the basis of Buhari's decision.

He should have asked Giadom to withdraw his case against Adams based on the fact that he was suspended by only 7 people.

This should be the political solution since his aim was to take the cases off the courts.

The dissolution is a stopgap, so that APC does not lose out in the 2 forthcoming elections. The outcome of the national convention will determine the fate of various interests in the Party.

He has no choice but to accept the dissolution in good fate. Otherwise, his case file will be opened by EFCC.

The party is going to cpc elements through the governors... You can either wait to see this play out or argue

AD and the other fusion has had their stay at the top in the party so it is only fair it goes to the one group relegated all this while within the party... The presidents men

Your analysis is selfish, weak and very shallow.,
1 What is been APC isolation camp beneficial to Ohio mole?
2. Was Ohio Ole made in APC/ACN?
3. What guarantee does he have in securing the seat for POi

The Oshiomole's biggest fear of going to prison for all his atrocious acts as governor was not mentioned in your analysis.

Oshiomole's dossier is with both Obaseki and EFCC and he is not free whichever direction he has chosen.

Grade 8 zombie analysis
festacman:
Contrary to widespread impression, a dispassionate analysis of recent political events surrounding Adams Oshiomole would reveal that his gains are more than his losses. Let's take a look.

A. If Gov. Godwin Obaseki had secured APC nomination for second term and eventually won Edo State governorship election, the following would have been the situation of Adams Oshiomole:

1. 'Promotion' from being a suspended member to an expelled member by his own village ward.
2. Loss of membership of APC.
3. Loss of his position as APC chairman.
4. Attainment of status of political pariah because there is no guarantee that Gov. Wike and Sen. Saraki would allow him near WADATA House.
Conclusion: Four losses, no gain.

B. With the current developments, the following capture Adams Oshiomole current situation:

1. He has his candidate Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as APC governorship candidate and has been able to repay the debt of support he owed him.
2. He is still a member of APC even if Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu fails to win governorship election.
3. He has lost APC chairman.
4. He still has a platform for future political aspiration, most likely Senate.
Conclusion: That's three gains and one loss

The truth is that Adams Oshiomole was driven by SELF-PRESERVATION. He fought for his political life. It is more like kill the 'snake' because if you don't, the 'snake' will kill you, anyway.

He was not driven by self-preservation but by expansionist motivation. The moment he helped Oba become the governor, he already secured his preservation but because he had his ways at the start of the government he then engaged in over drive and a man born a real man won't sit by and be used like a remote when he is well aware of the many things his signature could make happen

He becomes the first chairman to be sacked by the engineering of his state governor just after two years stay as national chairman. A position that has room for a second term.

It would have been better if he was made a minister. Chairmanship of a ruling party was way too big for his level of intellect and temperament. He talks before he thinks and is forced to walk his talk

Whether PDP or APC, the position of party chairman in Nigeria is characterized by turbulence arising from conflicting interests of key party members. Apart from Chairman Secondus, I can't recall any PDP chairman that came close to full term. It was worse during Obj presidency. Recall that even Chief Oyegun didn't get 2nd term from APC power brokers. Oshiomole has his faults like every human being but politicians as usual made his job difficult from Zamfara, Imo, Ogun, Bauchi, Adamawa, Enugu, etc. Unfortunately, he lacked sense of diplomacy and was too authoritative. Well, all is now history.

I ‘ve accepted my sack – Oshiomhole
The immidiate past national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has said that he has accepted in good faith the dissolution of his National Working Committee (NWC), insisting that he won’t go to court for any legal action.
Speaking at a media parley in Abuja, he said that he has also withdrawn his case at the Supreme Court, promising to support President Muhammadu Buhari who he said convinced him to contest.

I get you and I agree.

But I still find it a very unfair that a duly and legally elected NWC which has a tenure of 4 years is dissolved on account of a good minority of 7 out of 23 people suspending Oshiomole from his ward.

Very grave injustice!

Don't mind hypocrites. Loan he took at the twilight of his administration. He started attacking Ngozi Okonjo Iweala who refused to approve the loan until APC came on board and approved it for him almost at the end of his tenure. Obaseki is still paying for the Gbese. Let's not talk about Edo University Iyamho which he built across his palatial residence in his village.
