ChrisKels: Okay. Do you recall that Naija U-17 Team that failed to beat Niger republic in an Afcon U-17 qualifiers back in 2016? That team that was tagged Nigeria's youngest ever assemblage of young teens and gross inexperience cost us against Niger and we failed to qualify. Ishaq was tagged the golden boy of that team and was only 14 (born 2002). Now 18 and signed up by Norrkoping just this summer and he was moved straight into their first team and played in all games since the swedish Allsvenskan began off the bench. See him in the pic below in jersey no.11. Among the smallest in the team then. 3 Likes 2 Shares

ChrisKels: He doesn't have to score in the EPL before he can prove to be a hit! What if his goals help Man utd to win the Europa league or FA cup? He is just a loan player being used as back up.. 6 Likes |

Danielnino00: Yes I did give updates, but that a far cry from hyping a player. I was in dire need of a left footed left back. |

To be fair to Ighalo, he hasn't gotten enough time to shine in the EPL. Only played 52 mins shared across 6 appearances. But in cup games and in the Europa, he has gotten ample time and made use of it very well. You know me Chris. I am one of the Ighalo critics but since his star turn for us in the Afcon qualifiers leading up to Afcon 2019, I have to admit, the man have been something else. I almost did not recognize Iggy anymore. Let's give honor to whom honor is due. ChrisKels: 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Yes Chris. And I think it was 2017... Anyway, between 2016-2017 meaning he was 15 by then. He and Nazifi Yahaya were in that team I believe. ChrisKels: 2 Likes |

Truth be told, I know he can do a fine job on the left and have been good for Torino on the left from even last season in couple of games but I feel he's much better on the right. Aina is two-footed (though right is still his stronger of the two) hence his adaptability to both flanks shaa. Danielnino00: 1 Like |

Michael Akpovie Olise played 76 mins while Oviemuno Ejaria played 82 mins as both featured in their side's Reading's 2-1 away loss at Derby County in the Championship. Olise and Ejaria together. Ejaria should do the Lord's work on that kid and bring him in. 2 Likes 1 Share |

ChrisKels: I was only be euphemistic when I said you're prejudicial in the actual sense ya just an hater Someone of a sane mind won't undermine Ighalo's success this season I'm not really a fan of ighalo but I acknowledged his achievement You were blabbing earlier that ighalo played 6 games with no goal but am glad to tell that those 6 were sumed up to be 83 minutes so actually you gat no point Ighalo played 281 minutes this season with 5 goals and 1 assist (culled from whoscored) That means ighalo goals/contribution is 1 per every 47 minutes Biko what else do you want from him 7 Likes 1 Share |

komekn: So are you telling me there are no 22 and 23 years olds that are still trying to knock on the doors of the 3 Lions? How old were Omeruo, Musa, Iwobi, Ndidi, Iheanacho, Success, Chukwueze, Awaziem, Osimhen and the like when they got their debutes? All at teenage. So don't tell me "in the context of Nigeria". We have had exceptional teens that broke into the senior Team. There are still some 21-23 years old Nigerian players that are still trying to break into the SE. And the Olympics could have been an opportunity for them to prove that abilities. That is my point. Not all players blossom from teenage just like some players fizzle out after their teen age. Some start finding their footings from age 21 and beyond. The U23 has always been a feeder team to the Super Eagles and it will always be. 3 Likes |
