So are you telling me there are no 22 and 23 years olds that are still trying to knock on the doors of the 3 Lions?

How old were Omeruo, Musa, Iwobi, Ndidi, Iheanacho, Success, Chukwueze, Awaziem, Osimhen and the like when they got their debutes? All at teenage. So don't tell me "in the context of Nigeria". We have had exceptional teens that broke into the senior Team.

There are still some 21-23 years old Nigerian players that are still trying to break into the SE. And the Olympics could have been an opportunity for them to prove that abilities. That is my point.

Not all players blossom from teenage just like some players fizzle out after their teen age. Some start finding their footings from age 21 and beyond.

The U23 has always been a feeder team to the Super Eagles and it will always be.

Jack Grealish is already 24 and still knocking on the door of the national team

But their players still sit on floor

Former NPFL and Home based Eagles star, Afeez Aremu played for 60mins as his side, IK Start got hammered 5-0 by Odds BK in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

In Switzerland, Blessing Eleke played the final 10 mins of his side's Luzern's 2-2 home draw against Servette.
His side sit in fifth, 16 points behind leaders FC St.Gallen.

About 9 mins gone already in the Sheffield Wednesday vs Bristol City game.
Dom Iorfa Jnr starts and has already began sliding in with strong tackles.
Odubajo is on the bench. No sign of Urghoghide in the match day squad.

Talking about the championship, I think Leeds United will win the title ahead of West Brom.

The lockdown has really helped them to recharge their batteries for Biesla's heavy metal football grin

Well, seven games more to play after this but Leeds have the current advantage. The top place spot have been shifting like a pendulum between Leeds and West Brom so I really cannot say who might nick it eventually but both are looking good for an automatic return to the Top flight of English football.

thats why ah sidon for one corner dey observe since

TheSuperNerd:
To be fair to Ighalo, he hasn't gotten enough time to shine in the EPL. Only played 52 mins shared across 6 appearances.

But in cup games and in the Europa, he has gotten ample time and made use of it very well.

You know me Chris. I am one of the Ighalo critics but since his star turn for us in the Afcon qualifiers leading up to Afcon 2019, I have to admit, the man have been something else. I almost did not recognize Iggy anymore. grin

Let's give honor to whom honor is due. wink

It would be a big thing for Ajayi..

That is why it is always good for players to be top of their game regardless of which team they play for... If Ajayi wasn't outstanding with Rotterham, he probably would be playing in the league one with them...
