Please include you have a bsc in electrical and electronics Engineering from Convenant University so that you can adequately be advised cos of all these their relevant education, rpl etc things.

My own verdict- it is a 50-50 thing for assessment cos of your undergrad degree and you don't have more than 6 years experience which they may deduct in lieu of relevant experience if they don't see elect &elect as relevant experience.

It is good you place all the cards on the table so that you don't go and waste money unnecessarily or even if you are in it, you know how to condition your mind.

With a non relevant degree, he should not bother to apply to ACS cos his years of experience is not even enough for dedcution so it's most likely going to be a negative assessment.
TRA also don't do non-relevant degree

The problem with relevant and non relevant degree is a big issue. Australia and New Zealand use the same anzsco. On new Zealand immigration page, they specified electrical electronic engineering to be ict major, but there is no such thing in aussie site for assessing bodies.

If he can forfeit 250k, I think he can try while knowing the odds might or might not be in favour while he continues to seek other options of immigrating.

I also saw the attached. If it is true then he can get 1 year positive outcome if he waits to clock 5 years b4 submitting for assessment

To answer your question, provide as many payslips as you have. Do your payslips carry the company letter head? If yes, then you should be fine.

You cannot apply for any form of residence visa. 45 is the threshold. What about your spouse?

If your wife studied education and did teaching practice, I think she can apply as a primary school teacher.

As others above have highlighted, the ICT assessment can't fly with your degree and limited yrs of experience. Why not list your job description, maybe there's a way to align it with any occupation under engineering? It's really not about the occupation you fancy or wants to build on now, but just about what can get you an ITA.

If the right occupation is settled, you can go ahead applying, and not waiting till you clock 5yrs. Your experience yrs will continue counting after the assessment.

My husband on the other hand is the principal applicant and about sending his documents to AIMS for assessment for MLT as well, I believe the results will come out positive. We are considering Southern Australia or Northern territories.

Any advice?

Yes, you don't need a Pgde to assess as a University lecturer. You only need MSc and above

Sure you can. Do you have bank statement, pay slips, tax or pension statements for the 10 years
Go through the occupation list and determine the exact occupation you want to nominate.

What years were you awarded your HND and BEng respectively.
Operation is a division not a job role. What is your spouse's job function in Operation (job titles preferably).

Then check the occupation list to see the occupation you can nominate.

Your husband should go ahead and file for assessment since he is a Medical Laboratory Scientist, his assessment shall be positive. He should also strive to make 20 points if he is above 40 yrs. You also need to write English exam so you can add 5 points to him.

For whether one can get positive assessment with the Vetassess as a lecturer without PGDE, I don't think that is a must.
