It is not a Hidden agenda anymore that some parts of edos looks much like igbos while some parts of edo state also look
much like yorubas,
For example, some beautiful yellow women of edo state, if you get to see them out side, you will definitely think they are igbos,
Does this have secrets undiscovered?

Edos/Binis are Yorubas

There is no Igbo thing or look attached to Edo.

Everything about Edos boils down to yorubas due to convergence of history ( Both shares. same history)

Igbos don't need you guys.

The whole history I posted there leans towards yorubas...

Better start reading and know your history.

There is no mention of igbo or anything related to it there. It is just your imagination that is disturbing you.

Igbos are not yellow, they are brown and dark like other Africans, there are both fair and dark complexion in every tribe.

If you press further, I will post the pictures of your ancestors here for everyone to see.

Afonjas will invade this thread and start telling you all Edos are one and have yoruba blood. They are paid to continue to confuse gullible Nigerians to perpetuate One Nigeria. They will even go as far as to tell you out of inferiority complex and envy that Igbos are not light skin, when every idiott knows that 90% of all light skin in Nigeria are Igbos, followed by Ibibios and others in socalled SS.

Now to Edo: there two types of people in Edo that many Nigerians don't know. 1) They are Edo with Igbo blood called Igodomigodo people or Idu(changed to Edo). These are the real owners of that Edoland you see. These ones are the Afamai people, Esan, Ogbonna, Fugar, e.t.c, these ones look nothing like Yorubas. They look like typical Igbo people: hairy, flat head, brown to light skin, tall, attractive, their men muscular/well built like Igbo men, dominate sports like Igbos(same DNA) and very honest people. Blessing Okagbare is from there. Even their names sound Igbo. Check Nigeria Sports National team, if you see any Edo person there, nah Igodomigodo(Igbo blood).

Now, you have the invaders aka Yoruba blood. These are the ones causing trouble in Edo like Afonjas are causing in Nigeria. Very lazy like their afonjas brothers; all they do prostitution. These are Dahomey blood Yorubas used by old Oyo Empire to conquer the original OBA of Idu Kingdom, like I said was of Igodomigodo blood, now occupied by yoruba blood. These yoruba blood look like Yorubas: short, dark skin, conehead or small head, skinny, not hairy, lack muscles or strength, 99.99% muslims in Edo are of this yorubaa invaders blood like Oshiomole; even his face will tell you he is of afonja blood.

Now good question, if some Edo are light skin, how the fuccck can they be related to Yorubas, when 99.9999% of yorubas are dark skin? This is common sense! If you are Igbo, search Esan people, you will think they are Igbos; same look, culture and dressing.

Esan people...what's the difference between them and Igbo? Nothing. These people have nothing in common with Yorubas, at all. Don't look or dress like them! Afonjas, stay on your own and leave people alone.

If you check Pre-Colonial pictures of igbos documented by the Europeans that visited them, they are all dark and brown like their Africans brothers, the pictures above are of Igbos in 1800 taken by European photographer. Do you see anything like yellow? No.

Let's fast forward it to 2020, if you look around you or your Igbo friends, most of them are dark or brown like their African brothers, go to any igbo dominated markets, what do you see? Dark skinned and brown skinned igbos.

Now this is where it get tricky, I know people will ask the question "but what about lightskinned igbos?", there is perfect explanation for that.

Now look at this Pre-colonial pictures of igbos again, do you see lighter shade of skin? The answer is NO. So where does the Igbos get their lightskin from?

To be honest, the truth is igbos bleach the skin of their child right from when they are young, although there is nothing wrong with it, it their body and their child's body. Apart from it, igbo in their teens or adolescent stage also bleach their skin to look more light skinned, i'm not saying other tribes are not doing it, but the magnitude of igbos doing it is more compared to other tribes.

Another perspective is inter marriage between igbos and other tribes from south south, most of the light skinned igbos you're seeing are the cross breed of igbos with their south south neighbours.

But majority of igbos are not too dark,
And majority of yorubas are xtra dark,
That is a know fact,, what you post doesn't Change what is already know by everyone,,, ok?
But we edos exhibit both characteristics,,
Some of our edo brothers look extra dark like yorubas,
While some look much lighter skin like igbos

This info is wrong. Right from the days of slavery there are records of light skinned igbo people. And this was around 1700s. Some igbos have a gene that gives very light skin.
