Okay, thanks. That means I have to get to the bank to get a print out

The arrangement should be the same as in your BVN. I.e First name on your BVN would be first name in your application.

No need to go to bank to check your bvn. You can do this: dial *894# select open account, select open with bvn, input your bvn, you will see your bvn details(i.e first name, middle and surname) you can cancel or confirm to continued opening account with first bank.

I still have the number I registered my bank account with but unfortunately I typed another number during the registration of npower.. though I still have the number I used in my bank account opening...I guess the instruction was using the same number that is associated with the bvn..is there anything I can do?
