But what we all heard on Nwakali was how some of you will bring him here and talk about how he was gallivanting around Owerri abi na Enugu naa. How does that one concern me? I only bring football matters.
Some brought in his personal matter and that is a major part of how the lad kept being mentioned here.

I remember he was mentioned also b'cos of the U-23 Afcon qualifiers and the U-23 Afcon proper. So wetin again?

When he was in and out of Porto B, we talked about that too. When he was at Holland, we mentioned him with respect to Football. But when he was no longer playing, the mentions changed to personal life and how he was living and that didn't come from me. So you can see... No be me carry the guy matter for head.

Anyway i have said mine

Dont compare the hype you people gave to nwakali to osimhen ABEG

Even while not playing we no still hear word for nwakali matter

Cc Andrewbaba44.. One of my many posts on Osimhen back in 2016 while also discussing Nacho. Him Wolfsburg career never even take off like that at the time ooo but I was already tagging him a bad ass No 9.

TheSuperNerd:
This is what TheGooJoe and I have been trying to make others understand... Only few will see this (I indicated such in my write-up to TheGoodJoe and my response to Joseph1013's big question...)

My only stand is Nacho continues in the role as for now there is none better with such high pressing and pace upfront plus ability to attack space.

UNTIL A BADASS SUPER IN-FORM NO.9 RISES LIKE I KNOW AN OSIMHEN WOULD IN MONTHS FROM NOW.... Then Let Nacho keep leading the lines. He's the best goal threat we have. There's none better.

Nacho was "quiet" but wasnt useless yesterday... His running and high-pressing were too much for the Algerians.

He did what leekens just complained of. Anywhere he went, the algerian defenders followed him and that brought the likes of Moses and Iwobi and even Mikel more into the game in dangerous positions in the opposition's half.

The only reason I am linked to Nwakali on here is b'cos I still believe in the lad. All I do is drop his match reports and speak of his good qualities which I hope can come to light if he works hard enough and bounces back.

If he was still inactive, he won't be mentioned here as much and I cannot suddenly manufacture match report for a player who didn't play.... but I assure you that some others will still find a way to mention him in the light of how he is walking around Owerri or Onitsha or even Enugu or how he is wearing some blings. Lol
People must just find talk.

Well there is nothing bad for you to still believe in the Lad, i might not be supporting him like you do but i want him to work hard and bounce back and i hope his teams makes it to the laliga, i dont want him to go the way of chidibere because they both started with mancity and arsenal so it wont be good

If nwakali makes it to the top tomorrow no worry you can yab us as we go accept self , na so football be

Well i read that they said its because of FFP rules and they have no choice

Pjanic is fat better than arthur but who does that for a 23 year old potential world class? Pjanic only have 3 or 4 more years at the top unlike arthur

Anyway riqui puiq and alena dey give me hope as arthur replacement

At the bolded, you can say that again with speakers

You are funny, you would have called Osimhen a hype if he hadn't lived up to it. Nerdy did the same thing he is doing with every other up and coming kid with Osimhen, thing is the Osimhen lived up to the hype. I remember Icon4s warning us back then to tone down with the hype, that youth football is what it is, you probably weren't here with us then. And i will never forget Icon's statement after we lost to SA in Uyo, he was like "...lost all hope when I saw una osimhen warming up on the sidelines"

You are losing 2:0 to SA and Rohr had just one more substitution to make and that was Osimhen of 2017. Was that not game over? grin

They still have had a wonderful career at least nah

Enyeama, chamakh didnt have a bad career before retirement

toko ekambi ,seri are still doing well, remember seri almost joined barca ?

Belhanda and ayew arent bad, gervinho is still playing top football at 33

All of those players were top ballers when they won the Award, in fact Belhanda is one of the most consistent playmakers in Super Ligue, but my point is consistency at the top level. Chamakh, Gervinho, Ekambi, Seri.

They all seem to make wrong decisions after winning this award. Enyeama never left French Ligue after winning the award, so he doesn't apply.

Blessed are those who hype a player and admit it. that is the crux of the matter.
In fact you can do anything and get away with it in a forum. Nobody go come beat you for your mama house (if you still live there)

Thank you oooo Chris. I did the exact same thing and even was over the top a few times with respect with Osimhen. His very first goal in his senior professional career, that was what brought me out of my ghostmode back then inspite of my tight schedule at the time to just come celebrate it before I logged off again. That I will never forget.
If Osimhen had failed to justify our faith in him, the people tagging any small mention of Nwakali here as hype would have tagged that of Osimhen too as hype. But he is justifying the faith and belief some of us here showed in the lad and it is no more called hype. It is funny.

It is better if folks can keep quiet about a period they knew nothing about and stop forming "ITK" all in a bid to sell the notion that Nwakali is being hyped and Osimhen wasn't.
You see it in the way some of them will come up and start trying to color or limit praises of Osimhen subtly.
When Osimhen was being bashed left, right and centre, these ones played "snake" and went almost quiet when a few of us voiced our beliefs and optimism in his talents but they are now out to tell others how Osimhen should be praised. I laugh in the face of hypocrisy. Especially the ones who change like the weather and cannot take a stance for themselves as you described in one of your posts. Hahahahaha. grin

Although, it can be argued that if Osimhen has Haaland teammates, he may perform as well and even create way more assists.

According to FootballItalia, Lille forward Loic Remy is due to fly to Italy to join newly promoted Benevento.

Hmmm... Remy leaving, Osimhen likely departure is also still up in the air. Lille will need serious reinforcements in attack no wonder the Sadiq to Lille transfer talks won't go away.

He was hyped abeg. Where you here when I began the Osimhen hypes as far back as 2016 with respect to the Super Eagles?

Even as recently as last year I kept referring to Osimhen to Little Drogba or a player similar to Drogba. We who talk up Osimhen have never stopped since after the U-17 WC. We even overcelebrated his first Professional goal while in Belgium in here like crazy. I personally saw to that.
