Bia Elfy... Wait first. If there is a player you should have a problem with right now between the two players you mentioned, it should be Nwakali. At least, he just returned to try resurrect his career so should not be mentioned in the same breath as others right now with respect to the NT.

But you also seem to have a problem with Chukwueze. Chuks has been doing well going to two seasons now and is even showing good improvements this season especially in terms of playing well with teammates and trying to find a balance between going it alone and teamwork . I really don't think he should be mentioned in the same sentence as Nwakali. Chuks is far ahead man. Wetin Chuks do you? Lol

Bro, you know say I be chuks secret admirer.

Several times here, I have said I want him in Liverpool.....because Klopp will awaken the beast in him..I just want the hype on Chuks toned down a bit

Dele Alampasu played all 90 for Ventspils in their 3-1 win over Spartaks Jurmala in the Latvian Top flight.
A good start for Dele in his bid to finally get going. I know we still have a goalie in that lad. Glad for his return to action.

Alongside Dele Alampasu, Christian Pyagbara and Kazeem Aderounmu also featured for Ventspils. Kazeem came in on 67mins and scored the third goal late on. Pyagbara started and was subbed out on 46mins.

For Spartaks Jurmala, the likes of Aliyu Adam, Saminu Kwari Abdullahi and Pam Deylop Samuel played all 90mins. Chikezie Miracle Nwaorisa was subbed in on 46mins but could not salvage a positive result for his team.
The other Nigerian at Jurmala, Onyebuchi Lucky Opara didnt make it off the bench.

Let Messi leave and see if you won't....

If Messi retires next season suddenly, you'd place 5th in LA liga...it is highly possible. Your entire team is centered around him

Still in Latvia, Former NPFL youngster at MFM, Joshua Akpudje (CB) got red carded in the 34th min as his side BFC Daugavpils rallied bravely to still defeat FS Metta 4-2 in a home league game.

Tammy vs Osimhen comparison. na una start am. My own na no hate on the player because he choose England. nothing more.

I really don't understand how people will mistake preference for hate on this thread sha
Both Osimhen and Tammy are good strikers and one is not way better than the other

Yes some prefer Osimhen. But by hate the context is the aftermath of Tammy dumping Nigeria. That's when you get statements like "who can he even bench on Nigeria's bench" and the like.

Congratulations to Osimhen on his recent achievement.

But, I don't like the idea behind having the "Best African player" award category. It doesn't just sit right with me. Do they have the "best European player" category or "best American player" category out there too?

It appearing like; we know you can't measure up, so, we create a different niche where you and your likes are exclusive to, let your champion emerge from there.

The term has been so bastardized that it has lost its true meaning on here.

No it actually is relevant here where an article is written because a player made a pass 'to the right wing' and terms like 'game winning assist' are used

Exactly...

"His clearance from the box contributed immensely to the team winning"

"His tackle contributed to the pass that lead to the pass that assisted the goal"

"When he came in, the players ginger and they played with more gusto(because he is capt America)"

" He is better than Mbappe"

Both scenarios played out in reality and someone reporting it doesn't necessarily translate to mean that without the said players, the team becomes inexistent.

If you have followed all of Villarreal's games since La liga returned, you will understand that the rave reviews Chukwueze gets after each of those games are worth it. Call it hype... But a good and especially a fantastic performance must be applauded, analysed and talked about. The word "hype" has been so abused here that even a simple match report is called Hype. And it is not for ignorance about what the word means. It is rather ignorance about the proper application of the word.

Gbam!! Whenever they go further to utter the phrase "over hype" my stomach turns. I'm not sure we've hyped any of our players like the South Africans mirthfully hype Tau, but when one merrily drops a report here about a player he's accused of "over hyping".
