Simy Nwankwo on the bench for Crotone as they currently playing goalless away from home vs Ascoli in Serie B.

It is halftime.

Simy is the 3rd highest goals banger in Serie B with 13 goals so far. He also has 4 assists. His team currently sits in second on the table. That's one of the top 2 Automatic promotion spots.

I don't really understand this your comment it look subtle to me. But i understand the direction both of you are going.

The thing is that, if a super eagles player/ promising player feature in a match is not out of place if it is reported here, because the headline of this topic state so.

If the player pass the ball awkwardly and it does not sit well with you and you login on nairaland and see another person praising the player for a job well done. Well! You can decide to screw down ward rather than criticize the person. I understand that is you opinion but i felt like you are trying to make the person reporting those players feel bad.

No it actually is relevant here where an article is written because a player made a pass 'to the right wing' and terms like 'game winning assist' are used
grin

Exactly...

"His clearance from the box contributed immensely to the team winning"

"His tackle contributed to the pass that lead to the pass that assisted the goal"

"When he came in, the players ginger and they played with more gusto(because he is capt America)"

" He is better than Mbappe"
una no go kill person on this thread sha

I forgot to add that Akpudje's Daugavpils has another Nigerian who was on song today. Lad is Chinonso Nnamdi Offor and he bagged two goals in the 4-2 win.

Manchester City-owned central defender Tosin Adarabioyo has extended his loan deal with Blackburn Rovers, the Championship club informed via their official website on Monday, June 29.

The former England youth international will now remain at Rovers until the end of the 2019-2020 season and will be eligible to represent the club if they qualify for the play-offs.

Adarabioyo's previous deal with the Lancashire club was supposed to run out on June 30.

The 22-year-old is an influential player for Blackburn Rovers, making 28 starts since his arrival at the club and has found the net three times from his defensive position.

Before the start of this campaign, Adarabioyo's chances of breaking into City's starting lineup were slim, with John Stones, Aymeric Laporte, Fernandinho and Nicolás Otamendi ahead of him in the pecking order of center backs.

He is in line to make his 75th career appearance as a professional in tomorrow's Championship clash between Barnsley and Blackburn Rovers at Oakwell.

The giant defender spent the whole of last season on loan at West Brom.

TheSuperNerd:
Chriskels is right. Osimhen was hyped. And I was at the lead in talking up Osimhen's potentials even before his 2017 journey at Wolfsburg began.

And I can take you all way back to 2016 posts where TheGoodJoe and I had a couple of discussions where we pictured Osimhen as the lad who will be leading the lines today for us ahead of Iheanacho.

I recall predicting in 2016 that Nacho may have to make way for Osimhen in the No.9 role. I even had Isaac Success in the convo then. I said I see Nacho's future in the Super Eagles as the man behind the striker or one who could play alongside another. But in Osimhen we had a striker who we believe can grow into the player that will make that No.9 role his for years.

What is happening today has been analysed by TheGoodJoe and Myself. And I am sure a few others chipped in.

Isaac Success remains a very sad story because that lad has insane talent and ability. His dribbling skills, power, work rate and shot power would have made the offensive side of the Super Eagles formidable.

I hope he claws his way to the pinnacle of the game.

is it not too late like this? whenever i see the guy for watford, first i dey first wonder how the guy dey even play for premiership, talkless of matchday squad of a premier league team, although i always believe if you dont have that "thing" u cant play for madrid, barca, juve, man city etc, in respect to any young player or any player at all that has failed to spark, but this guy i dont see what hes playing, ive never seen him play good, ive watched only one of his goal, ever, yet he still plays in the EPL for like 2 years now, and even start some matches.... even though its watford, i dont believe if you are an "otu" you can play there.

is it that he is using juju, or gots the coachs nude, or performs incredibly well in training, or the club want to collect their money by force, is there something we are not seeing? how old is he self? the guy tire me, though i know he is always injured.

Honestly it saddens and yes he's still got some time on his side but he needs to find his bearings again fast. The time he has now wont be for long. Perhaps he needs to leave Watford and go elsewhere where he can resurrect a career that promised so much.

What an attacking option he would have been with the talent we saw when he rose through our youth system.

Thankfully, Iheanacho and Osimhen are on course from that fantasy trident we discussed then. The League of Extraordinary hitmen is still alive. wink

It's all just formality now. The Napoli story has been true from the very beginning. Osimhen only wanted to take his time and be done burying his dad. In time, all will be settled unless there's a last minute change of heart.

You should actually be able to comment on something you find misleading, partly incorrect, or inadequate. If someone writes a piece praising one player, you can post a comment critiquing that player's lack or inadequacies, perhaps in the spirit of reaching a more objective assessment of the player's skill, talent e.t.c. The only problem on public platforms such as this is that we are usually unable to keep our discussions reasonable.

Oya analyse.

Go to Spain and play for who? Remember he has to get game time and also that team must be a big step up from Lille setting him up for a much bigger move in future (possibly in his prime). Na Sevilla? They got En-Nesyri recently in addition to their other CF options. Or na Valencia you get for mind? Valencia wey Villarreal use do shege. Those people aren't even in the Europa spot right now.

Is it Real Madrid? Na Benzema Him want bench? Or na Barca you wan talk? They will still pick a Half fit Suarez over our boy. Besides the Barca politics is bad enough and I don't want Osimhen being a part of that.

In England, na Chelsea? They got Werner in addition to Tammy and Giroud. Na Man Utd? Ole preference won't work in his favor. Imagine starting Martial over Ighalo when we know Iggy is the better No.9. Rashford also must start whether he is poor or excellent.

Tottenham? A Kane on a wheelchair will still be picked. Lollll... Okay I'm kidding. But you get the picture.

Osimhen gotta make the smart move at this stage of his career. Napoli is fine choice that offers the challenge of an upgrade in terms of quality of players, league toughness and also will guarantee Osimhen good playing time with the likes of Milik, Callejon and co on their way out.

Look at Haaland for instance. He chose Dortmund for continued development, and enough playing time. Osimhen gotta make same right decision and I believe Napoli offers these going forward.

I understand your point on the hype. Chukwueze is not quite productive or at least his level of productivity doesn't commensurate with his skill level. The guy fit outrun everybody for the flanks and end up with a bad cross into the 18-yard box. His problem seems to be a mixture of immaturity and shrewd decision making, More so he's quite inconsistent. Some of these observations may be quite subtle though depending on what you are looking at or on what you want to see. I definitely understand what you mean by tone it down. grin
