Peter Oghenekaro Etebo played the final 21 mins of his side's Getafe's 2-1 home win over Real Sociedad in La Liga today. His side now sit 5th on the table, 1 point ahead of Chukwueze's Villarreal in 6th and two behind Sevilla in fourth. Six more matchdays to go in La Liga. Also in Spain but in the Segunda, K.Nwakali's Huesca beat Igbekeme's Zaragoza 1-0 away from home. Nwakali didn't to get play as he was benched for all 90 while Igbekeme played 1 min and added time for Zaragoza. Zaragoza still sits in second, one point from he top spot, while Huesca sits in third 3 pts behind Zaragoza and four behind leaders, Cadiz. Almeria that has Ozornwafor sits in Fourth 1 point behind Huesca. Interesting race as they enter the final six games. **Perhaps the "hype-obsessed crew" will find a problem with this and still call it hype. You never can tell with those guys. Lol 4 Likes 1 Share |

There's something such as talent abi na. The trainer's job na to hone/sharpen those skills ni now. If goalkeeper no too get talent na like pouring water into Apere ni now. But you've got a point surely, the trainer must have had a decent career himself to begin and be good at his job, although it looks like the two are usually mutually inclusive. There's only so much you can do to push someone above your own ceiling. Blueelf: |

After Nwakali’s scintillating performance two rounds ago, what is Huesca’s coach not seeing that we are seeing here. Two successive matches for Nwakali without seeing a minute. I hope things get better for him. Modified I’m beginning to suspect that Huesca coach. 3 Likes |

I agree with you.. I no dey wish Nwakali bad.. When he is showing improvement I go still talk truth. Give praise to who it is due. He needs to really work hard to get the coach's confidence. I hope to see him in LaLiga soon. AndSunGorilla: |

Abeg Barca can have Lautaro. I know he's been their choice for a while and I even suggested he would be their target before things became official. Also the Barca board politics and their player recruitment decisions lately get as e be. Won't want Osimhen getting near all of that. Suarez is an elder statesman for strikers. Same as Lewandowski. andrewbaba44: 1 Like |

Francis Uzoho is finding his way back quickly to fitness. He has been working hard with the trainer Rohr sent to work alongside him and he has this to say with respect to Enyeama's records for the team. 2 Likes 1 Share

Kog45: He might make it. I think he can go above average. He is showing some stuff 1. He holds the record as the youngest african gial keeper in la liga. 2. His perfiomance against world class teams is commendable. Argentina in the world cup and brazil in a friendly. 3. He is still very young for a goal keeper and so i think he has quality. I mean hiw many 19vyear old keepers can hold their own agaunst messi and co at a world cup. I beleive he has a lot to offer 1 Like |

Napoli have had a long-term interest in Lille striker Victor Osimhen. With lots of simultaneous interest in the Nigerian with 18 goals on his record for the season, Naples has kept up contacts in an attempt to pry him away. In the coming hours a meeting is slated between the sides to try to reach an agreement and move the deal forward. |

Philosopher1979:Yes you are right but remember Enyeama have a cap against Kenya(a friendly match) prior to 2002 WC and was magnificent against England with beautiful save from Schole shot. Uzoho would work his socks off to equal Enyeama record. |

benji93: I was very succinct with Isaac Success giving my rational that led to my tag on him " Waste Man" and of course many found that hard to swallow. I am aware that most are fans and allude more to the fanatical than the reasonable. However, you can be a fan and still be objective. One if the key issues of contention is this unnecessary and irrational preoccupation with past youthful glories. And using it determine competence future and present. |

AndSunGorilla: There are thousands of talented Nigerian footballers looking for opportunity. Talent is potential yet to be realised. When the supposed talent has not produceed anything after 5 years. It is time to look at other Nigerian talents not to do so is a disservice to those other players who striving for success. But we focus too much on unreliable past youthful glories to make present day decisions. 1 Like 1 Share |
