About Ampadu, except we start using 3 at the back. Why spend that much on him, well Madrid and City bought both their mendy are about 50m and 58m respectively. I don't see how a young LB would be sold for less from a team Leicester.

For Alex Telles, that was the lb I preferred but read he is heading to PSG for 25m

About Rice, he did his youth football with Chelsea so some of the staff know if he is good enough to play CB apart from watching his game over the years. Besides it's not the first time a midfielder converts to CB and does well

Chelsea will likely get Chilwell for 50m+ because he is 4yrs younger, if not then maybe Tagliafico, they must be considering what the point of spending 25m on a playing then in 4years time spend more on trying to get another LB that is if Tagliafico is able to adjust properly to EPL and perform for those years.

I like Havertz, the clips of him I have seen and on game console. Havertz dribbles as well but maybe more direct than Ziyech or even kovacic in midfield. Well let Chelsea sign him first

I think Lamps likes 2 AM (two 8’s) now. Kante at DM flanked by two 8’s that can keep us in attack & also sit deep to defend. See for example against city, Mount & Barkley didn’t expose Kante & were good offensively too. If we get Havertz, he will play as one of the 8s. Two attacking 8s may be the future like PEP or 05 Mou. If so where does Kovacic play?

We’ve used 2 AM’s (Mount & Barkley) to win twice; against relegation threatened Villa, & pack the bus with a city side. I think it will work.

Kovacic will play CM while Kante CDM in 4231 formation. Havertz will play as AMF or SS to Warner. Kovacic will support Kante in tackling while also driving the ball half way for Havertz, Pulisic or Zyech to take it upfront. Lampard want to have more creativity and goals upfront so do every CFC fan out there. Our goal return this season have been poor so far.

Yeah he dribbles only when it is necessary unlike Zyech who intentionally want to beat his opponent before making a cross which is a proper winger trait and it’s good. Havertz is like Ozil of Real Madrid, they give splitting passes and are very clever with the ball.

Barring injury he locks down the left wing immediately. Though on paper its Coman Gnabry and Sane for the wings but I expect an injury free Sane to lock down one side and Gnabry to get the other
