Trust me, kenya is better. That's why refugees from Somalia, Sudan, Congo & Rwanda all settled in Kenya after their nations faced civil wars. It's also one of the most toured nation in Africa with the highest number of Multinational Companies Headquarters in Africa meaning it's very safe to settle & do business. An indicator of a functioning state.
Many Chadians, nigeriens, Ghanaians, liberians, Sierra leoneans also settled in Nigeria during their time of trouble. No big deal.

See what the fool his priding himself over...
He was thesame fool that said Kenya is better than Nigeria cos Tayo sins went there to shoot his voice and a subscriber in the comments section expressed his interest Tongo there...he was even of the impression that Kenya is better than SA cos a video surfaced online about a SA nationale that moved to Kenya from SA...

Such close minded idiot irritates me...they always see the world from one perspective no matter what you tell them..

well this is one of the reasons why I respect Nigerians any day.

do you know there could be up to 10 million migrants in Nigeria?
the menial jobs industry in Nigeria has been almost completely taken over by Nigeriens, Benenoise , chadians, and cameroonians.

there are certainly thousands of Liberians, gambians and Senegalese in Nigeria too. all these guys are working.

Nigerians don't scream about inhabiting migrants and we certainly do not attack them for taking jobs too.

Nigerians just live their life Man.

All Nigeria banks have been making profits in Kenya and in all Africa countries at large, our bank dont just ventures into any countries when proper analyses is not carried out, Uba and GTbank profits has bn increasing (those still tiny for the time been ),while Access bank has promised to turn around that dead bank, Nigga we are your Savior grin grin grin , we buy almost collapsed firms and turn them around, Ihub(Now Cchub),Fina Bank(founded1983 now Gtbank)At that time, its total asset valuation was estimated at about US$242.2 million (KES:20.94 billion).[3] In 2013, GTBank Kenya was ranked number 22, by assets, among 43 licensed banks in Kenya then(so great for a new bank), Acorn Group(largest estates builders in Kenya) ,UBA BANK KENYA, (KSh 67.6 Million in net profit at the close of 2019. This is compared to KSh 53.1 Million made the previous year.) Crown Agents Bank and Investment Management,(with $1.5 billion in assets. In April 2016, Helios completed the acquisition of 100% of CAB and CAIM. CAB and CAIM provide payments), Equity Bank was making loss and could not expand , but starts making profits as soon as the Helios guys (Nigerians) made $178.7 million acquisition of a 24.99% interest in Equity Bank,Post Helios’ investment, Equity Bank acquired Uganda Microfinance Limited and expanded organically into Rwanda, South Sudan and Tanzania. At the time of Helios' exit, Equity Bank was Kenya’s largest bank by number of accounts and among the top three in market capitalization and assets, having successfully developed a platform aimed at banking the previously unbanked at the bottom of the pyramid.
Kenyans should always thank Nigerians for reviving all their dead firms grin grin grin
Wow, wow, wow! What can Kenya do without Nigeria. I think Nigeria is the biggest African investor in Kenya after South Africa.

Buhari's Full Speech At The Flag Off Of Ajaokuta-kano -kaduna gas pipeline project

President Muhammadu Buhari
I am delighted to address you today on the occasion of the flag off of the construction of the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline Project. This landmark project is being developed at a critical time in Nigeria’s commitment to increasing our infrastructure assets.

2.We promised the Nation that we will expand the critical gas infrastructure in the country to promote the use of gas in the domestic market. These include the Escravos to Lagos Pipeline System - 2 (ELPS-2), Obiafu to Obrikom (OB3) pipeline and AKK.

3.These projects are fundamental to our desire to industrialize and energize the entrepreneurial spirit that is ever present in our population. Hence, I had directed NNPC to ensure that these milestone projects are completed on time, within budgetary allocation and as per specifications.

4.When completed, the AKK Gas Pipeline Project will provide gas for generation of power and for gas-based industries which would facilitate the development of new industries and also the revival of moribund industries along transit towns in Kogi State, Abuja (FCT), Niger State, Kaduna State and Kano State.

5.When operational, the cascading effect and impact of the project will be immeasurable. It has significant job creation potential both direct and indirect, while fostering the development and utilization of local skills and manpower, technology transfer and promotion of local manufacturing.

6.The project is therefore part of the delivery of our Next Level Agenda for sustainable development and enhancement of the economic prosperity of our country.

7.One of the lessons learnt from the Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) Pandemic further underscores the drive of this Administration for export substitution initiatives and projects that will promote local manufacturing.

8.We must also learn lessons from other countries who have methodically made the transition from oil rich countries and used their crude as a pathway to economic and industrial diversification.

9.In particular, gulf countries who have similar levels of gas reserves as Nigeria, have a strategy centered around gas-industrialization as their foundation towards export diversification. This has to be our guiding principle as we seek to attract investment and create opportunities for our people.

10.In this regard, I challenge our private sector to lead the charge in maximizing our gas resources to create a petrochemical hub that will resurrect not only our manufacturing capacity but place us squarely on the path to increased self-sufficiency.

11.As the world evolves, we owe our people the responsibility to prepare them for what the future holds. We therefore must be bold and fearless and can no longer be incremental in our approach.

12.Time is short, and our people’s zeal is strong and palpable. Infrastructure development although long, tedious and complex remains a cardinal objective of our Administration’s drive towards ensuring a stable, sustainable and more prosperous future for our citizenry.

13.Today marks an important chapter in the history of our great Nation. It marks the day when our domestic natural gas pipeline networks; from Obiafu in Rivers State, Escravos in Delta State and Lekki in Lagos State, are being connected through Kaduna to Kano States thereby enhancing national energy security, creating balanced development, and further integrating our nation.

14.I would like to commend the Government of the Peoples Republic of China; our financiers the Bank of China and SINOSURE; and the two EPC Contractors (Brentex/China Petroleum Pipeline Bureau-CPP Consortia and Oilserve/China First Highway Engineering Company-CFHEC Consortia) for your support to deliver this important project. THIS PROJECT IS DEAR TO THE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA AND MUST SUCCEED.

15.I congratulate the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, NNPC and all relevant Stakeholders on this historic and epoch-making occasion. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the resilience of the team to deliver on this project is commendable.

16.I also urge all the stakeholders to continue providing the required support so that this landmark project can be actualized within the approved budget and schedule.

17.Finally, I am counting on the Executive Governors of Kogi, Niger, Kaduna and Kano States as well as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory to provide the enabling environment and support for the project.

18.It is my honour to flag off the start of the Construction Phase of the Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline Project today at the Ajaokuta, Kogi State and the Rigachikun, Kaduna State Camp Sites simultaneously and hereby declare the commencement of construction activities.

19.At the same time, the Executive Governors of Kogi and Kaduna States are to physically flag-off the commencement of works at Ajaokuta and Rigachikun sites on my behalf.

20.Thank you all for your commitment and resolve. For those that journeyed from far to attend this event, I wish you all a safe trip back to your respective stations. This has been a good day for Nigeria’s development, evolution and integration.

21.God bless you and may God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Thank you
