Details of the Osimhen deal unfurling: French media are reporting that Lille are unhappy about Osimhen's travel to Naples because they've not agreed on a fee with Napoli, but this was their same reports about Nicolas Pepe. Osimhen's entourage say they have taken permission. Osimhen doesn't seem convinced by the deal because of the lure of the EPL and fear of racism in Italy. But Gattuso in yesterday's dinner showed him the technical project and Koulibaly is reported to have allayed his fears of racism. Napoli wants to understand Osimhen's will before talking to Lille. The deal is said to be complicated because it will be a part exchange. Lille like Adam Ounas and Napoli are offering 40-50M plus the player and Osimhen will earn € 2.5 million net per season, plus 500,000 bonuses. Today Osimhen will meet with the Napoli Chairman, Aurelio De Laurentiis, in Capri. English clubs are interested but have made no offers, so Lille are reluctant because they want a bidding war. 5 Likes |

Blueelf: The fact is they have a choice, does that choice mean therefore a lack of commitment and or professionalism. Once the choice has been made. Because a beautiful woman has multiple suitors does it mean she will be less loyal and or faithful when she eventually makes her choice. I do not understand your reasoning. |

Reports coming right out of France claim that Monaco offered 8.5M including bonuses not 17M for Sadiq Umar. The Manager of Partizan said that they would sell him if a bid of 15M comes in, but no club has met that valuation. Lille and Genk are very interested but Monaco seem desperate after losing Slimani and are expected to sell Wissam Ben Yedder. The bid of 8.5M has not been accepted or rejected by Partizan, though. 1 Like |

Arabiandude: What's the co-relationship with Neymar and Osimhen, l really do not get it. First of all Neymar is a world class Brazilian international played at Barcelona has been tested and proven at the highest level. Are you attempting to compare the two of them. Because Salah plays in the same league as KC does that mean they are of the same quality ❓ What's your point, can you bring more clarity please. |

elunico: Aribo had spent 3 consecutive seasons with Charlton Athletic. And in the summer moved to Rangers in September he played his first game for the SE. The Scottish premier league is considered to be on the level of league one or lower. So for all intents and purposes he was more or less an EFL league one player. Although officially a Rangers players at the time he played. Funny he turned down EPL interest to play for Rangers. 1 Like 1 Share |

komekn:I am not supposed to reply you because I have become bored with this topic but let me do for clarity sake. You are good at reminding us whenever it concerns Osimhen and been compared with a striker in the EPL(example was Lewin and Osimhen comparison) that Osimhen plays in French Ligue which is a lesser league compared to the EPL. So before also coming up with this usually narrative of us, I have to quickly reminding you that I could be playing in a lesser league, but it doesn't mean you are better than me. Major reason I have to remind you that Neymar plays in this same French league which is lesser compared to EPL but he is better than all the players playing in the EPL. So, whenever you want to compare between Osimhen and Richarlison, don't bother to mention the leagues they are both playing at. For avoidance of doubt, Richarlison best season ever was 13 league goals, including when he was playing in Brazilian league, while Osimhen best season ever was 20 goals, playing in Belgium league. Hehehehehe... Sadika is in demand. I hope Partizan can reach a compromise eventually abeg. I need Sadiq sealing a deal this summer to Ligue 1 preferably. And Monaco released Slimani alongside a couple of others. They didn't want to make the deal permanent. I understand it was for financial reasons. It's no surprise they are in hot pursuit even when I expected Lille to be more serious seeing that they are losing both Remy and Osimhen. Although they got a back-from-injury Timothy Weah but that's not enough. TheLoneCitizen: |

Napoli’s €80m offer for Victor Osimhen is on the table, but Jürgen Klopp is lurking L’Équipe have this morning provided an update on the future of 21-year-old Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, who arrived in Napoli yesterday to meet with Gennaro Gattuso as he mulls over a possible €80m move to the Italian side. The young attacker has been warned by multiple individuals that he trusts not to make the move to the Neapolitan side, to the point that he had initially ruled out a move there back in April. However, money talks and at the moment, Napoli are the only club to have made a formal proposal worth an astonishing €80m plus bonuses. Yet, the player has still not made his mind up, despite visiting the club’s facilities throughout yesterday. Osimhen returned to Europe on Sunday, after attending his father’s funeral in Nigeria. He was then in south-west France on Monday, where he met with Lille President Gérard Lopez, who had just returned from the United States. The pair had a long discussion and have a close relationship, embodied by the player gifting the Luxembourg businessman his first Lille matchday shirt back in August when he scored twice on his debut against Nantes. Lille had formally permitted Osimhen to travel to Naples on Tuesday, alongside his agent. The deal on the table with Napoli is €80m excluding bonuses, and Lille appear eager for the player to accept. His former club Charleroi, from where he moved to Lille from for just €12m last summer, have a sell-on percentage fee clause, but the amount they can make from it has been intelligently capped by Lille at the €6m mark. Should the Nigerian sharp-shooter elect to join Napoli, the deal would represent the biggest transfer in the club’s history, easily overtaking the amount expended on Gonzalo Higuain in 2013, €39m. Gennaro Gattuso has told his president that wants just one player this summer: Osimhen or nothing. The situation that Osimhen faces resembles that of Nicolas Pépé last summer, who moved to Arsenal for €80m last summer. Rather than seeking to move to one of Europe’s top five clubs, where he might only receive minutes off the bench, Osimhen is leaning towards favouring a move to a club where the footballing project is best for him. There is interest away from Napoli: Inter Milan have formally expressed interest. Jürgen Klopp is very interested by the Nigerian’s profile, his hunger and his pugnacity particularly standing out. Liverpool have not moved to match Napoli’s offer at this stage, but, contrary to other press reporting, L’Équipe feels they could afford it. Klopp has already begun briefing media on a quiet transfer window to come – to minimise expectations? Napoli really don’t want to miss out on Osimhen, having already had a €70m proposal for Lille winger Jonathan Ikoné rejected last summer. Real Madrid have also made initial enquiries for the player, but there is no concrete contact from Los Blancos. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2020/napolis-e80m-offer-for-victor-osimhen-is-on-the-table-but-jurgen-klopp-is-lurking/ 2 Likes 1 Share |

Klopp O gini kwánụ? Would you guarantee our starboy enough game time? Osimhen definitely prefers England but he also wants to play almost every game so the team he joins must guarantee him that. Enough playing time is his yearning. Really can't wait to see his final decision. BascoVanVeli: |
