Posterity would not forgive me if I see atrocious antecedents and fail to lend my word of caution to whosoever would adhere to sound caution.
I've been an ardent longtime follower of this thread, albeit a silent one as I have a firm view that stocks are traded with a long term perspective especially since the year bros Dangote and that Ette lady did kalo kalo with my stocks and made them rubbish.
This VAP [which we have termed vapu in the FOREX thread] is nothing but an overly hyped contraption that the infamous fellow has adopted to sway unsuspecting individuals to his web so as to finally prey on them. Even with the intraday intricacies of forex trading, the so called system has failed to show any viable potential in being profitable, so he has run away from that space.
More so, after attempting to further prove his system profitable without involving the sentimental attachment of trading his funds, he resorted to managing accounts of the unfortunate individuals that got attracted to the razzmattaz and embellishing of his few fortuitous predictions. Expectedly, they have only sour tales to tell of their experiences and that's simply because it's a very very very different scenario when you have real money to trade as against tales to tell.
I put it to you that this fellow has no liability invested in the stock market and even if you offer an ordinary stake of 100,000NGN to put his postulations to bear, he still would not be forthcoming. He would spew his hate and negativity as usual but that doesn't add to my tabs after my usual 1759 so it doesn't bother me the least bit. If he can't present his discount house where he has placed these so called trade calls produced by his Vapu system then I pity anyone that would use their hard earned 50NGN to trade 10units of Vitafoam shares with his trade tips. I resume my hibernation in my hole now cheesy

Kindly go back to past submissions and u'll see that some of his post u quoted was made when I advised folks to seize the opportunity of the temporal rise in NAHCO and exit at btw N2.90 to N3.
...then, the dude came up to say that his "almighty" VAP sees great VALUE in NAHCO and that folks should hold and accumulate more.
...I just laughed in Swahili !! grin grin grin

I hope ur reason for buying isn't just because u saw a young management team at Sterling HQ. wink cheesy grin
...'Cause if that's ur basis for asset positioning, then pls be informed that there are also some young managers in coys like MIDVIEW AIRLINES, VERITASKAP, OMATEK, ROYALEX, TRANSCORP and a few more. grin grin grin

At the current price peg, STERLING is good but surely not the best right now. ...both on a P2P and sectoral analysis.
Just ensure u don't overpay for it !!

Btw, of the 5 coys mentioned above, I think the last 2 still hold some potential. ...but then again, they aren't the best pick for now.

Its a growing bank and very innovative....Board position is strong including management and their books looks good for a growing bank, with majority of its shares in few hands

Indians also play a major role in the future of the banks management.

Its best for me....I will accumulate more for long term.

As someone who used to work there i wont put my 1naira in it based on the young mgt as the MD spends most time on social media like Twitter and Linkedin instead of looking for ways to grow the banks bottomline

The social media wars was the most childish thing i saw and did it add any valuable corporate customer NO!!!

The mass exodus of his tech staff who do the creative work is also worrying with the likes of Polaris bank and FBN taking the very smart ones

Dont invest on sentiment but TA or fundamentals

From Nepotism to childish antics, it doesnt get you very far as bank

The likes FUGAZ are called so because they focus on the big picture which is making profit

How many times do you get to see Wigwe, Uzoka, Agbaje or Ovia online posting philosophical thoughts

cuz the are focused on the bottomline

GET READY FOR TRANSCORP HOTEL PLUMMETING HAPPY DAYS AHEAD AS THEY HAVE ANNOUNCED RIGHT ISSUE PRICE

MTN ON THE INCREASE NEXT WEEK, one crazy director bought shares worth 109.5 million
Be careful of transcorp hotels. It's highly illiquid.
The fact that they're going for right issue is even another reason to be cautious in dealing with them.
If you have insider or privileged info, you're very sure of it and ready to go a very long term, then you can go for it.

As for MTN, how many units does the 109.5M translate to?

HI Guys, I need some help with Morgan, been calling customer care but I can't get through to anyone

I'm trying to fill the stock transfer form for Morgan, which are the important parts to fill? company name, my name, CHN number. Is there anything else?

Also, where do I sign? transferor, or transferee?

It's a good buy but you can get at better (cheaper) bargain cos of the general situation of the market for now.
Alternatively:
You can be picking it small small, so that you'll be buying in tranches if it's going lower. You may be dropping your bids at support (lower prices).
No one can time Mr. Market but the skepticism remains that the Q2 results might not be that fantastic, hence the cautious trading.
This is just my opinion, I may be wrong.
