P35 may somehow be on par with the G25 coz the benchmarks I've seen online kinda place both at around 90k - 100k on antutu. But the G25 probably has a much better GPU for gaming.

It seems it the 9A is about $90 then the 9C is around $100. It's 'cheap and affordable'.
So it not having type C can be overlooked(but I didn't overlook it)

Well, the G85 in Note 9 is faster than the SD665 in Note 8. The Mali G52 is better than Adreno 610 in Redmi Note 8 as well.
The 665 is only slightly more efficient due to the fact that it's 11nm.
