2020 only 20% is slum,,,, its so developed with malls, world class hospital, schools, brt, roads, water, electricity, trainstation

That settlement is so clean hey, houses are being build for them as we speak, theythey will soon be relocated

I will not even lie, 85 percent of Lagos island is a slum, thst is a fact poor roofing, old buildings but there is now hope because they have just finalized the design of the Lagos island regeneration plan, it basically entails moving some of the people currently living in those buildings to the new ilubirin housing scheme, rebuilding the balogun market and turning it into a massive mall, than demolishing the rest of the buildings and turning them into high rises see pics down below, the last pic is construction progress on the low cost apartments for the people living in the slum of Lagos island.

Also Last time I checked the nominal GDP of Kenya was 89 billion in 2019.........Lagos already surpassed the $90 Billion mark in 2016 and is around $96 billion presently
