Besides, to your point about bots allowing Mods to use some certain blacklisted words, that's not and shouldn't be the case. Most forums wouldn't allow that. (I'm trying not to say "all" cos who knows) Blacklisted words are always more granular and enforced at each role or access level. The mods will surely be able to see the reason a user was banned and the blacklisted word. You can check out their config code and let me know if you find an exception for the Mods. That's just btw.
