100% agreed, l dont think I said best but highest expectations for Aneke, he was supposed to suprise the league

The best Midfielder for me then was Eze then Onomah followed by Oviemuno as well as Etebo in the Championship who l expected to be the new Ngolo Kante.

Out of all four Aneke has been the most dissapointing for me. Yes he has almost continous injury but l expected those injury issues were behind him. He needs to get some real specialist physiotherapy. I dont know a lot of muscular players seem to have these issues.

Anichebe had the same problems after doing way too much muscular build up in the gym after he had his leg fractured.

Currently Eze is definitely number 1 followed by Oviemuno and Tega is actually now trying to catch up, so let's see. Funny though Tega is the one most likely to have a chance to play in the EPL next season if all goes well with Fulham.

Etebo is missing in action he has gone to the relative ease of La Liga.

The competition in the Championship is crazy intense. Anybody from position 10 downward can be relegated, the difference between the bottom 8 teams is 6 points. The difference between the top 6 teams is 8 points. And anybody can be beaten by anybody at anytime.

Now that Aneke has fallen your hand, what will it cost you to tag him a waste man and a flop like you did with Success, Sadiq, Osimhen and Iheanacho?

I'd like him to remain in France if he gets assurance of playing time.

Turkey is a no no for me considering how young he is.

I asked if you're a statistician by profession.

Turkey is the most competitive league outside England.

Sayin he has gone to La Liga is not to say the Championship is better. But that he couldn't cope with the physicality and intensity.

Etebo is now thriving in La Liga it is clearly easier for him.

He made the right choice he realised that this league is not for him.

Modified: 16. grin.
But according to transfer market, he was born in France, how could this have been?
It looks like it's possible to falsify birthdate information in France.

It is almost impossible to falsify your age when you're born in Europe.

This is Lukaku at 13, bigger than the referee.

Could be but the quality is very low compared to the EPL and even the Championship.

Sturridge has left the EPL and is half the player he was, 11 games and 4 goals in Trabzunspor.

It is a retirement league for a lot of players leaving better leagues.

Dennis is a very fine player but I think what he needs is more consistency and a higher challenge to really bring out the best in the lad.

He also needs to add more discipline to his game as he is so technically blessed but sometimes he showboats.

Dennis has shown he can mix it in with the big boys like he showed against Man Utd and Real Madrid. He is a fearless lad and I think he will come good.

I'm really not cut out for this Dennis guy, I hope he convinces me. To me he isn't Super eagles material just yet.

Hope he moves to a better club and proves his mettle

I think Kelechi Iheanacho should go to spain. Man city play a type of football similar to Spain. It suits his style more.
Also, i think Isaac success should go to spain and be serious. At least he was better in Spain and Spanish football seems to work for him

It's not almost it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE.

Once you are conceived you will have data capture, expected date of delivery.

When you are born data is captured immediately.

When you start playing local football at age 5/6 your data captured in local league.

But you know the real difference is look at Iwobi, Aina, Eze, Fikayo, Oviemuno at age 14 - 16 and look at them now you can see dramatic change.

Now check our local African guys at that age coming from, Africa not all but most. Difference is clear.

Agreed without reservation.

Players need to be honest with themselves.

However, one big problem which is WERE DEH MONEY DEH

Apart from the top La Liga clubs money is not that high.

Most top 6 Championship clubs will out pay and out spend any club below position 8 on La Liga.

What most Nigerian players (locally born) dont realize is that if you do well in a mid-table club in a top 5 league
you might end up in a big club because of your experience. Its happening to chukqueze and osimhen.
Chukwueze is wanted by atletico madrid because they beleive he has experience playing in la liga. This happened to Braithwaite and
he is in Barcelona.
Osimhen might also move to a big club. Game time and performance in a decent league is very important. The Spanish and English leagues are ranked at the same level by the authorities.
Look at Samuel Chukwueze. If he stays 2 more years in Villareal, he could move to a big club in Spain or Italy because they beleive he has experience playing in the league. He might end up in Barcelona if they keep having problems with players flopping (with his experience in la liga football). This is what happened to Ighalo. I guess they thought he had experience of playing in the premier league and spain and this counted for him.

You are talking of 5 years ago.

I am talking of last three consecutive seasons he has been outstanding in the leagues he has played in.

What were the expectations on Aneke ❓ What has been the highest transfer fee paid for him, please tell us. Because transfer cost creates expectation commensurate with the size of the transfer fees paid.

2018/19 season he scored 19 goals in all competitions for MK Dons almost single handedly dragging them up to league one promotion. He refused to renew his contract. Playing as a Midfielder, SS and sometimes striker.

2017/18 season he had the highest number of assists for MK Dons and comparable goals. Multiple Championship clubs came in for him Charlton refused to sell him. That caused all sorts of contention with him and the club. Nonetheless, he was forced to stay another season.

Fighting with prostitutes in a hotel lobby in the public and refusing to pay the prostitutes, while being drunk and disorderly
. Is absolutely out of the ordinary and it's not normal behaviour.

Add to that being slated by three successive managers at Watford and found to be unfit and indisciplined. Are not signs of professionalism.

There is no COMPARISON beyond your negative I'll join the bandwagon bigoted double standard brigade.

Now what has Success done since he arrived the EPL 5 years ago ❓ for £12.5 million. Considering the transfer fee and expectations.

And ask what were the expectations on Aneke, released for nothing by Arsenal in 2014. When he arrived injured from the Belguim league and unable to play Charlton signed him for next to nothing in 2016 into EFL league one.

It took him almost a whole year before he played his first game for Charlton after recovering from injury he scored on his debut game twice after coming on in the 84th minute. I don't know if he is a prayer warrior, but many would have retired from football by now.

My opinion without bias, is that this guy has climbed mountains overcome multiple obstacles and somehow has been able to perform WELL and ABOVE all EXPECTATIONS.

So how is he "WASTEMAN"

I think that Chuks Aneke has been for this season largely dissapointing albeit it his injury issues have not helped him. I expected much much more, but a WASTEMAN no. Just like Etebo and Tega Onomah l have largely been dissapointed. I expected them to be dominating in the Championship. But it did not happen.

So, you've now shifted it to how much he was signed for right? You're signed for free or peanuts, so you're under no obligation to deliver right?

How much did Rangers signed Aribo and how has he performed since then? How much did Juve sign Pogba?

If Aneke is that good, then his performance should land him a transfer to a club willing to pay more than what Success went for eh?

Getting numbers in the English 3rd division won't make me rate you. Akinfenwa has been consistent for Wycombe wanderers for a while now, let's look his way as well.

"Are you disciplined in the field?" Didn't get that part, man.

Meanwhile, Onyekuru's loan spell at Galatasaray has come to an end, so he wouldn't feature this Sunday when Galatasaray play Trabzonspor.

Media in turkey are reporting that Fenerbahce have already put an offer. They have spoken to Monaco and Onyekuru's manager.
It is also stated that Monaco new manager, Robert Moreno, who didn't get to see him play, wants to analyse him first.

Zenit, Anderlecht and Rennes are still interested.

Further developments

Yesterday Onyekuru did not train with Galatasaray.
Monaco new coach, Robert Moreno, was the one who asked Onyekuru to be recalled so as to access the player in Monaco training. Onyekuru sent a message to monaco saying "Please allow me. I cannot leave Galatasaray alone in this period".

Monaco has requested Galatasaray to pay 150k to loan Onyekuru for July only. Remember that Galatasaray paid 750k to loan the player initially.
