Blueelf: Sayin he has gone to La Liga is not to say the Championship is better. But that he couldn't cope with the physicality and intensity. Etebo is now thriving in La Liga it is clearly easier for him. He made the right choice he realised that this league is not for him. |

TheLoneCitizen: Could be but the quality is very low compared to the EPL and even the Championship. Sturridge has left the EPL and is half the player he was, 11 games and 4 goals in Trabzunspor. It is a retirement league for a lot of players leaving better leagues. |

Dennis is a very fine player but I think what he needs is more consistency and a higher challenge to really bring out the best in the lad. He also needs to add more discipline to his game as he is so technically blessed but sometimes he showboats. Dennis has shown he can mix it in with the big boys like he showed against Man Utd and Real Madrid. He is a fearless lad and I think he will come good. nelszx: 2 Likes |

komekn: I think Kelechi Iheanacho should go to spain. Man city play a type of football similar to Spain. It suits his style more. Also, i think Isaac success should go to spain and be serious. At least he was better in Spain and Spanish football seems to work for him |

TheLoneCitizen: It's not almost it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE. Once you are conceived you will have data capture, expected date of delivery. When you are born data is captured immediately. When you start playing local football at age 5/6 your data captured in local league. But you know the real difference is look at Iwobi, Aina, Eze, Fikayo, Oviemuno at age 14 - 16 and look at them now you can see dramatic change. Now check our local African guys at that age coming from, Africa not all but most. Difference is clear. 1 Like |

Philosopher1979: Agreed without reservation. Players need to be honest with themselves. However, one big problem which is WERE DEH MONEY DEH ![]() ![]() Apart from the top La Liga clubs money is not that high. Most top 6 Championship clubs will out pay and out spend any club below position 8 on La Liga. 1 Like |

komekn: What most Nigerian players (locally born) dont realize is that if you do well in a mid-table club in a top 5 league you might end up in a big club because of your experience. Its happening to chukqueze and osimhen. Chukwueze is wanted by atletico madrid because they beleive he has experience playing in la liga. This happened to Braithwaite and he is in Barcelona. Osimhen might also move to a big club. Game time and performance in a decent league is very important. The Spanish and English leagues are ranked at the same level by the authorities. Look at Samuel Chukwueze. If he stays 2 more years in Villareal, he could move to a big club in Spain or Italy because they beleive he has experience playing in the league. He might end up in Barcelona if they keep having problems with players flopping (with his experience in la liga football). This is what happened to Ighalo. I guess they thought he had experience of playing in the premier league and spain and this counted for him. |

komekn: So, you've now shifted it to how much he was signed for right? You're signed for free or peanuts, so you're under no obligation to deliver right? How much did Rangers signed Aribo and how has he performed since then? How much did Juve sign Pogba? If Aneke is that good, then his performance should land him a transfer to a club willing to pay more than what Success went for eh? Getting numbers in the English 3rd division won't make me rate you. Akinfenwa has been consistent for Wycombe wanderers for a while now, let's look his way as well. 2 Likes |

TheLoneCitizen: Further developments Yesterday Onyekuru did not train with Galatasaray. Monaco new coach, Robert Moreno, was the one who asked Onyekuru to be recalled so as to access the player in Monaco training. Onyekuru sent a message to monaco saying "Please allow me. I cannot leave Galatasaray alone in this period". Monaco has requested Galatasaray to pay 150k to loan Onyekuru for July only. Remember that Galatasaray paid 750k to loan the player initially. |
