Tired of this question here, so let me quickly and lastly address it. No one is sure what is going on, that's if you should book or not, or whether this winter will be possible (thanks to the embassy). People are booking, so I advice you book, but NOTE: The embassy wrote that they are currently not accepting visa applications, so my guy everyone might have to cancel and rebook again, so you see! no one is sure, so my advice is please book, and he alert on this thread to know the latest update from the embassy (That's if they will) whether to cancel or not, it's been a terrible year and the embassy seems to make it more terrible.

This is very inspirational and motivational.
What was your undergraduate course please?

I will like to connect you if you don't mind as we are in same career line.

There is nothing inspiring about this in my opinion. This is one of those fancy name international master which has no use in Germany. I'm sorry for my ill but true comment.

Most of you want to study and stay back for work in Germany.
The painful reality is that most of the courses have no bearing jobwise, in Germany. Eventhough they are taught in German unis. You need to talk to people who understands the job market in Germany before choosing high sounding but second to useless courses

In addition , useless courses are taught everywhere, including the popular universities

How can you combine Mech, Elect, info-tect, electronic and computer in a 120 etcs that cannot even cover ms word in computer properly and you think it is a good course. Omg

Use common sense my people

I want to read about someone who learnt German and took a professional course, that would be inspiring.

I don't think you know much about the said course. Do your research, it's a hot cake in everywhere in the world including Nigeria. The German coys in Nigeria (Like the KHS machines he mentioned, Krones Machine, GEA, Miho, Sidel etc) are search for them cox they are not much in Nigeria.

If you say his post is not inspiring to you, is understandable but trying to write about the course you don't understand is not too good.

No it won't affect anything. Since it's through DAAD scholarship, you can only get one scholarship admission from One of the universities but it is possible you get admission from all the 3 Universities. But only one of the 3 universities will give you scholarship if you are qualified. Goodluck.
Remson23:

Thank you for the responses. I have gone through it and I now have better understanding of about it. I hope arranging the Universities/Institutions applied to in their order of priority would not affect an applicant in the eventually shortlisting from the Universities. According to DAAD, Choice of Universities must be clearly stated on the DAAD form that would be submitted to the 3 schools arranging them according to priority (the information given on each form going to the 3 schools must be the same just like you've earlier said). If a school sees it's name as third on the list of possible 3, I hope it wouldn't affect one's chances.

For those quoting me about the confirmation of d dates I posted. Its true. The dates came in yesterday. But it's for family reunion. And the site would soon be updated from d visa suspension as expected. You can as well make ur own findings as well. Thanks.

Yes, I sent my documents by mail also. But you should upload all documents and pay the application fee even before you send the documents. They started evaluating my application immediately I paid which was even before I sent my documents.

Don’t delay, do it now. All the best.

Did you send your documents by mail to uni assist or just online?

When I see newbies jumping at every admission they get, I just shake my head and some won't listen... In an not in Germany but I have contacts with a Lou of friends and families there... I beg you all choose course wisely... Go to indeed job portal register for job alert with that your degree name and see how many jobs in germany you would receive alert for in a month, that should give you an idea of what awaits you when you graduate... And please don't compare yourself with somebody that already has work experience in the same field doing similar masters with you and don't celebrate the miracle of just one exceptional person..do proper analysis on what happens to the larger crowd that graduate from that course ....And lastly before you graduate you should ask yourself with this my skill I have now, am I employable or I just want to beg for jobs in the labour market?

You go gree hear word?......How many graduates from that course, that school and department have you taken advice from? How many students in that course have you chatted with on Facebook and linkedIn.... Don't just follow names of courses, look at the curriculum and the relevance of what you will learn to the job market...

Standard companies, especially the MNC would rather work in a team consisting of people that studied computer science, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering than to higher a mechatronics engineer that has no strong grasp in any of the above areas.... Somebody that I would advise to go for such masters should already have strong industry exposure with experience and direction in the same field before the masters

Oh and btw not to dash hopes cos I'm in the same situation as most of waiting for AD. the information on Schengen visa's website says "Foreign students whose studies cannot be 'continued' entirely from outside Germany" emphasis on "continued"
Let's continue praying. The good thing is that we've done what we can, na God and embassy hand e dey at this point.

Hello house, i have an MBBS degree and as we all know MBBS is not classified in Nigeria and many other countries into 1st, 2nd or 3rd class. Just pass written on our certificates. I also graduated after January 2018. Should i book under category A or B?

Call the embassy to ask. If anybody have an answer though, but I think you should call the embassy number to be sure.

Just so everyone is aware. Irrespective of the course you've chosen to do, you can always find work! Maybe the chances for some are higher than the other but you can always find work! And this is only true as long as you can speak German.

In the course of your studies, you can do internships or student assistant jobs that work in line with your goal and help you build "experience". "Experience" is quoted because in any job interview you go for, questions on what you've done/been involved in would be about 50%.

However, at the end of the day, what saves you the most is to be able to speak and understand the language. If you don't speak the language and end up getting a good job. Congratulations! You're a prodigy.

Guys, at the end of the day, it depends on why you want to be here. To study or to stay?
