I'm really pained right now, I recharged #500 on my Airtel Sim and I got a confirmation showing the card has entered.

I was even rewarded with #3000 which I planned to use the main balance to sub later in the day but I was busy throughout yesterday, so today morning i checked my balance and I saw #9 and I was surprised because I didn't use the #500 for anything. I wanted to beared the #500 since I still have the #3000 bonus.

I always love to load enough airtime before calling my mom so I decided to use the #3000 to call my mom which we spoke for about 20mins and the call ended and I recalled her number only for Airtel to inform that I don't have enough airtime for calls when I haven't used anything out of the #500 I recharged yesterday!!!
i have tried calling their customer care but it's not connecting, for this hard time na em Airtel won scam me of my hard earn money.

Plz have you ever experienced such??

Oga you actually exhausted the #500 airtime yourself. You said you placed a call to your mom for about 20 minutes right? The thing is Airtel doesn't deduct from your bonus when you have actual airtime. Instead they deduct your recharged airtime pending the time u exhaust it then, they charge you from your bonus.

No vex...You can send then a tweet @Airtel_care or AirtelNigeria on Facebook. I had a similar issue and they responded sharply through one of those platforms. Something must have happened and they will explain better.

I didn't make use of the main balance because they've deducted it before I made the call and the bonus was also deducted by them.

How can #3000 bonus finish before 20mins even if they should deduct from the main balance (#500) it should last more than 20mins but the call was not even up to 20mins with my mum anyway I have loaded another card today.

Bro I have been using my Airtel line for long even with #200 I can make calls for more than 20mins but #500 card was not even up to 20mins if at all it was up to 15mins.
