I'm a Liverpool fan, I have been for a long time now.

But I just have to say that I think Kevin De bruyne deserves the nomination.

He's been phenomenal for city even though city themselves have been less than stellar this season.

To have a man who plays his best in every game isn't common in this day and age.

To sum up I really think Kevin De Bruyne deserves the award.

But alas Henderson is most likely going to win it because Liverpool won the league.

First off all, Henderson didn't win the league, Liverpool won the league, Henderson was just a part of the league winning team.

Second of all, winning the league is not a prerequisite for winning the award, after all Van Dijk won the award last year and he didn't win the league.

I still strongly feel that De Bruyne should win the award.

Henderson is not even the best in Liverpool talk less of the whole league, he is just a beneficiary of a rampant English hype. If Henderson is awarded eventually, he should reject it for the sake of fairness, merit and humanity.

It is crazy to know that the best player to ever Grace EPL (David silver) have not won the award despite winning the trophy 4 times.

Isn't it also crazy to know that the best striker in EPL history (aguero) has not won this award despite score more than 20 goals with injuries in each of the last 8 seasons...... And second to Allan sharer on all time list of top scorer despite playing 200 games less than sharer

It is also crazy to know that the best box to box midfielder in premier league history (Yaya toure) has not won this award despite scoring more than 20 goals from midfield as a midfielder in 2014............ Another midfielder to have score 20goals from midfield was lampard and that same season lampard won EPL best player and also won third position as world best....... But Yaya toure was not even recognize,, what an injustice.

And now Henderson (which I guess) will be recognized ahead of debrune..............
