Kudos to all those who've contributed positively to this thread. SMH @ all those with negative and ignorant comments -- must you comment -- even in things you know nothing about? This is a groundbreaking project for my 2 states, and by extension travelers. 1 Like |

abeg when are we gonna wake up from our slumber and face the reality...he wants to construct road from ondo to lagos 1. is that not suppose to be federal project 2. even if he his able to do so (which i know is a propaganda) from which fund 3. wetin concern him in linking the two states when there have been enough projects laid down by the federal government i know some people will be happy but have yuh check for the consequences on the state as a whole cos soon now they will tell yuh there is no enough capital to fund things within the state, there are so many pressing issues than ondo-lagos (unnecessary and unrealistic project) all these people are just playing with our minds and messing with us big time..... may God help these deteriorating nation so that the great minds can smile at last #InMyThought.......Blessed 1 Like |

Please you need to consider your stand very well before deducing in error. I repeat geographical that ondo state do not share border with Lagos be it aerially, spiritual, maritime or in any form subscribing it to be a boundary. Pls educate ur self.it like saying Togo has maritime boundary with Nigeria. |

hucienda: Before that road gets completed, Akeredolu should team up with Ambode to build a strong & efficient ferry service between Ondo State & Lagos State, using a PPP model. It would be faster to deploy an efficient water transportation system with a fleet of boats, ferries and hovercrafts, than get bogged down by the stress and delays associated with road building, communal disruptions & right of way issues, which commonly crops up when new infrastructure is being put in place. People have been talking about building the 4th mainland bridge in Lagos for how many years? What is the status of work on that project? 1 Like |

maclatunji: And while Lagos and Ondo states are putting on their thinking caps on how to harness their coastlines and water resources to ease transportation, authorities in Ogun state have just ignored the enormous potential of their coastal areas. If only they could develop a safe, fast and efficient water transportation system between Ogun waterside and Lagos coastal areas, a lot of benefits would spring up. Ogun waterside can accommodate some of those residents that live in Ogun state and work in Lagos. Travel time from Ogun waterside to Lagos island would be cut in half, and holiday resorts or villas could be developed along the Ogun waterside that would yield revenue for the govt. |
