To the glory of God, after 1yr and 4months of waiting, I am glad to share my first sale's report with y'all.

Bought on dynadot for $6.99
Held for 12 months 2days. And sold for $150

This is the first of many more to come.

This is impressive and many of us here can achieve the same. He doesn't have 2 heads and what is most interesting is that I don't think he is based in America or any rich European country. I suspect he's from Asia, from a third world country in Asia. I suspect Indonesia or at best Malaysia.

If he can do, we too can. One needs to understudy him and know the secret of his success

If we want to be successful in this business, we need to put in our best and not just treat it as a side hustle.

Also, we can't depend on outbounding geo's for sale. The big money is in inbound.

Also, don't be stingy and buy only handreg or buy only deleted names. You need to buy names on the secondary market. There are many gems out there going very cheap. Go to Namepros and see names galore for sale at cheap prices

We must also be ready to wait, at times, wait years for a sale.

Also, domaining is a game of numbers. The more names you have, the likelier you are to have a sale. The guy has over 3,800 names. You can now understand why he has about 600 enquiries a month. The previous month was 650 or so.

It seems his sell rate is about 4% which will mean 152 sales minimum in a year. That is on the average 13 names a month. That is also food for thought.

Edit: Actually, he seems to sell about 9 which means about a 3% sell rate. I'm sure he can achieve 5% or more if he lowered prices.

have you ever used dynadot or sav to dropcatch domains. are they as reliable as namesilo and namecheap?

I've only caught 1 domain with dynadot backorder but it was a geo.. For brandables and most likely EMDs, dropcatch is more reliable. Seems sav is a trusted catcher . I've lost a number of interesting domains to pple who used SAV, I didn't compete with them via dynadot sha....

Wait for 60days, you would receive a message from your registrar. The opt in would be activated. Relax

But me think it is better get quality names and be mean in this business in terms of pricing oh.

Abdulbasit have sold domains for higher price before now.
Above all!! There were several domains we have sold here that are of equal quality, but been that we needs quick cash; we sold them to other domainers at very cheap price and they sold it at big price at the time when the end user demands for them

Domaining requires patience and focus; If you don't demand for big price no buyer can pay such cash.
But then you must make sure the domains worth the price.

Exactly my mindset boss.
That is why I am understudying him as if my life depends on it.

Will continue to say it. Patience is the most important thing in domaining.
Most names are fairly good provided one can wait for the right time

They don't usually review names on weekends and there's no hints to show your names will be accepted or rejected. Just submit good names and you'll confidently know that yourself.

If you're eligible to submit upto 10 names or more and wake up in the morning, noticed that maybe 3 names has been reviewed outta 10. Don't wait for them to review the remaining 7 before adding more names otherwise you may wait longer time.

Just keep adding the remaining 3 until they remember to review all.

Please note, they do tell us that names maybe longer in review because it meets their criteria for acceptance earlier but needed to pass second review test before fully accepted or rejected.
