On one hand Ndigbo are being led by Ipob under the leadership of the their so-called supreme leader, Nnamdi Kanu. According to them, Nnamdi Kanu derives his authority from God and most of his pronouncements are therefore final and cannot be challenged. To demonstrate how powerful Nnamdi Kanu is, he recently issued out an order that the president general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Nnia Nwodo , should be stoned to death anywhere he was seen. His crime was associating with the Hausa/Fulani.

Some few days later, after much pleading and appeal, Nnamdi Kanu suspended the stoning for three months. The three-month grace is for Nnia Nwodo to stop being a saboteur of the Biafra struggle. We are yet to hear from Nwodo himself. However many Ndigbo are already praising Nnamdi Kanu for his listening ear and showing mercy to Nwodo. They are advising him on how to better run Ipob and how they want its success. The passionate Biafrans have nothing to do with Nigeria and Nigerians and cannot wait to see Nigeria disintegrate. Atiku/Obi presidential campaign on PDP platform however tested Ipob resolve when Nnamdi Kanu commanded his base to vote for PDP. How Nnamdi Kanu would have achieved his Biafra this way is best known to him. Nnamdi Kanu has exposed his hypocrisy and fraud by this singular act. It means Nnamdi Kanu may not be working for Biafra after all: his agenda is to position Ndigbo as a hegemonic power in the nation seat of power.

Having known that Ipob is actually working for Ndigbo to clinch power at the centre, the Igbo project of taking over the presidency should now be seeing as a strategy being executed from many fronts. The fact is Ndigbo are after the presidency and every other things are a distraction.

All said and done it is crystal clear Ndigbo want the presidency and Ipob is just a blackmailing tool. All hands are on deck for Ndigbo to see one of their own in Aso Rock. That is the greater Igbo agenda.

Although I agree with you, I will take it as a very dirty insult to compare only 5 "divided" states to a whole country —Nigeria

Don't forget Nnamdi Kanu is from Israel.

If Igbo man cannot be allow to be President of Nigeria then let us separate and form our Biafra .

But what we can never accept is slavery in this 21st Century if you insist we remain in Nigeria then we must have equal right as citizen .

They choice is for Nigeria to make

2023 will be a very decisive year for all of us the Biafra agitation will take a very dangerous direction or die down for good

Presidency is by consensus and negotiations. Threat and blackmail will introduce setback to the struggle.

Many ethnic nationalities are equally marginalized in this country. It is a universal problem. Giving Ndigbo the presidency can not solve the problem. It is beyond Igbo presidency.

So, the IPOB project now is no longer Biafra but presidency?

Amazing.

Maybe Kanu should register IPOB as a political party.

Who knows, maybe Kanu will be elected as president of Nigeria one day on that platform.

One day...in a very distant future.

Ipob is a front by Ndigbo to obtain the presidency.

Atiku agreed to a referendum if elected, that's why Nnamdi instructed people to vote for PDP.

Not going to happen.

Buhari has a better chance to contest for and win this year's US presidential election than an Igbo man to contest for presidency in Nigeria and win.

No hating. Don't blame me either.

Blame Nnamdi Kanu whose stock in trade is insulting every other ethnic group that isn't Igbo.

Blame the Igbos themselves who follow suit.

All the problems Nnamdi Kanu keep rolling out cannot be solved by Igbo presidency. Nigeria's problem gives rise to Igbo problems and other nationalities' problems. The solution is reconfiguration of the country.

It was a personal agreement, between Atiku and Nnamdi. If PDP won, he'd make way for a referendum. That's the only reason why Nnamdi would EVER instruct his people to vote in an election. Nnamdi HATES Nigeria, and wants nothing more to see his people out of the union. He has no desires or plans of dominating a Nigeria. In his eyes, the country is corrupt, dysfunctional and backwards, and he wants to see a prosperous Africa, which he feels, can only be achieved, if his people have their own country where they can thrive, industralise, then invest all across Africa.

Personal agreement in a matter of life and death? No agreement paper? No signatories to the agreement? Should a party default how will they be held to account? Fulani - Igbo political alliance is a personal agreement? Kindly present another story. This narrative is incredible.

Lol

Even if there was an agreement paper or signatories to the agreement, are you expecting it to be disclosed to the public? Where you expecting it to be on the newspapers? Or on TV stations?

It was a political agreement made by a potential incumbent. No papers need be signed. It's either, he fulfils it or he doesn't.

As I said before, Nnamdi Kanu and the IPOB movement, is about separation from Nigeria. It's not about stealing power so they can continue the old age looting, which has resulted in Nigeria becoming the poverty capital of the world. It's about breaking free from a country considered oppressive and backward, and creating a nation that can sit comfortable with the most advanced nations of the earth.

Sometimes, insults should be allowed to be directed to most Nigerians who seemed to shun logic. There is nothing such as permanent friend in politics but interest. If Atiku/Obi presidential campaign has shown interest in restructure and referendum in Nigeria under its watch, Nnamdi Kanu was perfectly correct to ask his supporters to vote for Atiku/Obi presidential ticket. Accusation of Nnamdi Kanus's "Agenda is to position Ndigbo as a hegemonic power in the nation seat of power" is a fallacies born out tribal induced stream of thought.

Atiku is Fulani and will never restructure Nigeria. Atiku is a power monger who was contesting power with his boss, Obasanjo, when they were both in Aso Rock. Such a person cannot be trusted with power.

The silly presidency of Nigeria does not fly in the orbit of IPOB. All that matters to IPOB is actualization of Republic of Biafra. I personally do not subscribe to actualization of Biafra. My take is actualization of Republic of Igbo land. Nigeria\Biafra war defines Nigeria for me. I had been very foolish not to ask for country which is not exclusively for Ndigbo.

I do not care who is Atiku. He could be Kanuri or Jukun for all the matter. It must be recalled that first Mayor of Enugu was Fulani man from Sokoto voted by Ndigbo against other Igbo candidates. What Atiku/Obi presidential ticket embraced during the political campaigns which informed Nnamdi Kanu to pray his supporters to vote for the ticket is paramount.

Homogeneous Igbo republic may be difficult. As such a restructured Nigeria with loose centre and strong components is preferable.

It is important that you care. Fulani have proven over and over again that they do not have the solution to Nigeria's numerous problems. In fact they are part of the problem. Asking Atiku to take over from Buhari is a political miscalculation.

What makes it difficult if I may ask? The areas that belong to Igbo people in Nigeria is delimited. Ndigbo had enough land and population to stand as country. More then half of the countries in Europe are smaller than Igbo land both in population and land mass. The restructure is a joke because for it to be meaningful, Lagos and Abuja must be cited in the defunct eastern region and midwestern region respectively. My type of restructure must be grounded and equal.
